Censorship: Google Demonetizing Web Sites for Unacceptable (To Google) Coronavirus Theories

" starting on August 18, Google will "ban publishers from using its ad platform next to content that promotes conspiracy theories about Covid-19." Additionally, "in cases where a particular site publishes a certain threshold of material that violates these policies, it will ban the entire site from using its ad platforms."

In short, anyone who deviates from the conventionally accepted narrative, or as CNBC puts it challenges the "authoritative scientific consensus" on the coronavirus pandemic will be promptly demonetized.

Unless someone provides a competing search engine that allows all voices to be heard (including scientific truth that defies consensus) and people have the wisdom to use such an unbiased tool and to weigh data rationally.
I do not expect any such tool or use thereof to be praised by the media propagandists.

There is some massive censorship gong on right now. Yesterday I wanted to learn something about an herbal medicine. Just wanted to learn from whatever info is out there. All I got from Google was establishment governmental medical sites saying how dangerous it was. That was the totality of the search result. This is the death of the internet...

Gotcha. Had not heard of it before. Probably when I worked for ThomsonReuters I'd have run across the same thing.

Fortinet is a corporate firewall. I can't change their policies, all I can do is petition them to actually look at the content of the site rather than simply block it outright.

Well, I fall on the side of "I'll look at violence if I want to..." I guess Fortinet (though I haven't heard of it) would be a place/search engine, or whatever it is I'd avoid. But of course, your choice.

I agree, the deep state media has created the crisis to defeat Trump. Harmless on Nov 5 assuming a Biden victory? Would a Dem POTUS let a crisis go to waste? No, the crisis will continue, but the media will switch from irrational criticism of the Trump admin to praise of the less rational actions by the new administration - although the actions will be just as successful as the War on Poverty.

The current Pope is following in that Pope's footsteps, albeit without the explicit force to directly torture those speaking truth.

Be aware that some search engines don't like BitChute, and will mark it as "dangerous." Of course. But I have used it extensively and never ever had a problem with it actually being dangerous.

Someone to look up: Styxhexenhammer666. Yes, I know, the name is crazy but he is an interesting guy. *EDITING TO ADD: if bad language bothers you, might wanna skip Styx. :-)

google is a private business, and can do what they want I think. BUT, I have to accept that they monitor and control all content on their site, so its objectivity is ZERO

The Chinese Virus will become harmless on Wednesday 5 November. Possibly before that if a re-Impeachment gets underway.

Yeah, right. And the Pope and his accomplices insisted to Galileo that the sun moves around the earth.

I use DuckDuckGo. The problem is a substitute for YouTube. I like Jordan Peterson's new site, but all it is is an aggregator for paid content.

Hmmm, "the authoritative scientific consensus"???...Bull crap! They are only scientific puppets pulled and yanked by an authoritarian with an agenda.
Any scientists that presents facts to the contrary gets censured.

An alternative what, search engine, that’s how G00gle started. I was there.

DuckDuckGo is default for their browser. I use Yippy.

Network, GAB, PARLER, GG On-line. The former are so slammed that they are slow.

Goggle intends to shut down any and all discussion on the COVID virus. No further study is needed. The current scientific consensus knows all there is to know about the COVID virus.

What a relief! No one else will die henceforth from COVID virus. No on will be hospitalized. No further positive cases will occur by edict from Google the Almighty!
