Previous version of such fabrication was, under Obama, when they showed dead children in the dirt on the news during our family dinner trying to get the US to take out Assad. I was livid when my kids saw that. These people are just total crack whores for power...

a female friend of mine reported that her father-in-law and her husband went for covid19 testing a few days ago...after registering, they waited in line for the test...got tired of waiting and left....a short time later the test result came to them in an email...they tested positive....never took the test....

Is there no department or faction of government that isn't corrupt anymore? Everything I look at today, I'm leery of, I question everything, I hardly believe anyone anymore. Everyone uses so call data to enhance whatever they want you to believe, whatever their agenda, for whatever reason. It just doesn’t make sense anymore how or why people twist the facts into something they in reality really don’t even want. For what purpose? I can only see it as a means to lead the blind into complete and total submission to some power that wants control of everything. I can see today why `they’ want history to go away, because history is factual data that results in the outcome of peoples actions and beliefs, real or imagined. Perception is reality, maybe we’re really not here, maybe it’s just all a dream, or nightmare, conceived in our minds.

It would have to start with him ordering all the coroners to review every death listed as COVID-19. Not sure he has that authority but it would be a good idea. There is so much FUD being distributed about this virus. IMO its worse than the virus itself.

Nobody needs to be ordered to inflate the numbers. There's a 20% extra payment to medical facilities or nursing homes for treating COVID patients, so there's a clear motivation to inflate the numbers without anyone ordering a thing.

There's a family here in Oklahoma who is suing the nursing home because it listed their father's death as a COVID death. In reality he was in the end stage of Alzheimers disease, and had stopped eating and drinking, which resulted in his death. He had tested positive for COVID, but showed only minor symptoms, like a slightly congested nose, but the nursing home put the cause of death as COVID, which the family claims was in an attempt to collect the 20% "bonus."

Seems, P.Trump is taking control of the data now...

That would be consistent with the San Diego Coroner who found that after reviewing 196 cases where COVID-19 was listed as the cause of death, only 6 (or 3%) actually warranted that determination.

Do we have a data problem...yep but that is only part of the problem.

Basic data as simple as I can make it. A couple of weeks ago the NCHS stated that only 7% of total deaths attributed to covid-19 actually died of covid-19 alone...that is less than 12,000 people to date.

Yes it is dangerous. So is the flu or pneumonia.
Many dangers while navigating life. Unprotected sex , drinking and driving so many nasty dangerous things to consider. My body my life, be aware take precautions mitigate risk.

My opinion, this virus is serious and nasty, to deal with it, accurate data is important.

Question- Are deaths from flu being counted as from C19?

I am inclined to say yes from general reading and the way that organizational incentives work, on top of political pulls.

In 2019/20 flu deaths were 1,174 less than in 2018/19 suggesting to the suspicious (eg. me) that some have been shifted to blame C19. Look at the data again, flu deaths in 2018/19 were lower than in 2017/18. 2018/19 is too early for data shifting. Seems to be a declining death count from flu. So while I can be suspicious, cannot say the data supports a yes answer. Texas could be doing better on flu over some years, this is an interesting point.

The Texas report , says-
Deaths due to COVID-19 may be classified as pneumonia deaths or influenza deaths (deaths due to “flu” or “flu-like illness”) in the absence of positive SARS-CoV-2 test results.
They may be doing the opposite. (?)

The thing is, I need little convincing. I do talk to people with different views and give them what I think, huh sometimes uninvited. For that I do prefer to argue with good back-up data.

What struck me- Big Tec is making much of 'real' news, reliable data, etc, but doing a search I see there are eight, or more, Donald Trumps on Twtr, five show the usual face photo, one shows a head-and-shoulders. They look like the same person to me. Do all of those have that name? Do all look the same?
