    I read it when was first put on Amazon, several months ago. Thought it was a good story but, at the time, needed real editing beyond spell checking.

      There is a kind of Hugh Akston character in the novel, also a professor of philosophy.

          Thanks for the comment. The novel is about the battle for the soul of the university, its essential mission, and in that battle a scholar of the Western philosophical tradition already is a hero, since the heritage of Western Civilization is today viewed as a white male prejudice and bastion of oppression. Of course, the novel get much, much livelier than philosophical conversations with the clash between politically uncorrect campus speakers and Black Lives Matter becomes sheer violence.
