The Media is Lying About the ‘Second Wave’ of COVID19

"For months, the Washington Post and the rest of the mainstream media kept a morbid Covid-19 “death count” on their front pages and at the top of their news broadcasts. The coronavirus outbreak was all about the number of dead. The narrative was intended to boost governors like Cuomo in New York and Whitmer in Michigan, who turned their states authoritarian under the false notion that destroying people’s jobs, freedom, and lives would somehow keep a virus from doing what viruses always do: spread through a population until eventually losing strength and dying out.
The “death count” was always the headline.
But then all of a sudden early in June the mainstream media did a George Orwell and lectured us that it is all about “cases” and has always been all about “cases.” Death, and especially infection fatality rate, were irrelevant. Why? Because from the peak in April, deaths had decreased by 90 percent and were continuing to crash. That was not terrifying enough so the media pretended this good news did not exist.
With massive increases in testing, the “case” numbers climbed. This is not rocket science: the more people you test the more “cases” you discover."
Let’s go back to the original measurements used to scare Americans into giving up their Constitutional liberties: the daily death numbers. Even though we know hospitals have falsely attributed countless deaths to “Covid-19” that were deaths WITH instead of FROM the virus, we are seeing actual deaths steadily declining over the past month and a half. Declining deaths are not a great way to push the “second wave” propaganda, so the media and politicians have moved the goal posts and decided that only “cases” are important. It’s another big lie.
Resist propaganda and defend your liberty. That is the only way we’ll get through this.

My metric would be hospitalizations. That's what all the fuss has been about, right - "not overwhelming the system?" And even those have never from day one been at a threatening level. This whole thing has been one big hype job...

Evidence of the virus from testing means almost nothing, the tests are quite bad.
But when there is a hospital case, that is evidence of serious, dangerous symptoms that needs proper attention.
And....the numbers are going up because they are doing more testing, more testing is showing persons with the antibodies for this virus does not mean they had it but they are also being counted and adding to the numbers. CDC is not telling this as they should.

Thank goodness someone has a tiny bit of common sense (he still wears one and thinks it's a good idea, but will not mandate). God bless the man (when you hear that coming from an atheist, you KNOW I'm grateful).

And in the meantime I was a little nervous this morning when I went to Walmart....a lot of customers were wearing masks...only a few, including me, were not. As I was self-checking out, the attendant approached me, and I greeted her, expecting an offering of a mask or perhaps even a mild chastisement. She was pleasant, but looked a little concerned. "Ma'am, did you know you have your shirt on inside out?"
I give up. Some days it just doesn't pay to go out.

I don't care one bit. I wouldn't trade one single stupid mask-wearing event, much less the massive toll on our economy, our conveniences and freedoms, for rolling my dice.
Unfortunately the media and many in Government have now seen a clear new knob to control us by: fear.
Now we have fear like this for control. We also have new basic unarguable truths, CO2 (or whatever I say) controls the climate and environment; we are all racists, and the only reason black people are weaker economically is racism; Capitalism is bad. Organized religion, dying of its own failed dogma, has been replaced by a new dogma of the left, implemented by media priests. To deny it, to assert the Earth rotates about the sun, is to invite loathing, ostracization and even attack.
People need a cause. The cause needn't be right, but it must make them feel better about themselves for believing in it.
I think that we are still in the after effects from "flattening the curve" of the first wave. Flatten the curve only stretched out the time line of the problem,but doesnt reduce the number of people who will eventually be affected. In 2018, the second wave happened to be much more virulent mutation of the first virus and caused much more death. The succeeding mutations are usually less virulent then the first, but for some reason in 1918, only the second wave was more virulant. The third and fourth waves were far less virulent.

99.3% had other conditions that made them vulnerable and more likely to death from illness.
1. Hospitals are getting paid more than double the payments for COVID patients compared to other diseases. That will skew the reporting and increase the COVID death rate.
2. If a patient who had lung cancer and maybe 3 months to live contracted COVID and died, did he die of cancer or of COVID?
My educated guess is that the statistics are including him as a COVID death.
In my opinion, he shouldn't be counted as a COVID death.
The statistics are rigged to increase the COVID death count - to increase fear and dependency.
I read one article that proposed that the total number of deaths should be compared to the total "normal" number of deaths from other non-pandemic years in the same months.
The assumption is that that would give an estimate of the change in deaths occurring as a result of the pandemic for the period.
