Many libertarian-leaning thinkers oppose such an active level of censorship on a platform with 'monopolistic' reach.
There's something deeply disturbing about near-monopoly platforms deplatforming users with no due process or transparency. YouTube controls more than 70% of the online video sharing market. Its parent Google controls over 85% of desktop search. This damages democracy.

placed against governmental intrusions on Individual Rights?
Or should they be extended to crony capitalists as well?
Unfortunately, we live in a society of status and we must figure out how to cope with them. Or revolt.
YouTube should change its name of its platform to Big Brother Controls Your Tube.
On second thought, I've been reading of late about cowardly CEOs firing employees for expressing conservative opinions either orally of with words and pictures on such things as T-shirts.
So if it's really about fear of being called racists or of having their headquarters burned down by rioters, maybe the administrators of YouTube should change the name to Chicken Coop Tube.
Just plain Yellow Cur Kennel would work for me.
Especially in a deeply formative election year where people will be looking for better answers to the headlines that the MSM deliberately wordsmiths to avoid reading their lousy and biased reporting.
As a veteran student/teacher in the liberty movement for 44 years, all roads lead back to collectivists as the core problem!

Parler seems to be an alternative to Facebook. We need to find the most free and user friendly SMP that won't restrict from the top, but allow the user to ban those they don't anything to do with.

Reddit has blocked users from posting about Gab, too, just as Reddit has now stopped Trump supporters from posting in their favorite area (removed for hate speech this week.)
Apple and Google won't allow Gab in their app stores either unless they agree to toe the line and block conservative "hate speech" as defined by leftists on the left coast

This is just one example of what happens when someone creates a place that allows free speech online. Bankers and big tech do not want any free speech that disagrees with their narrative.
This is a blatant conspiracy to rig the 2020 election and to bring back a deep state tool to the office of president.
Any discussion of the world's problems without a constant checking with the membership roster of the CFR is a fools errand and essentially worthless. Why? Because the real power agents, "the dots" if you wish, are all there, present and accounted for.
Whether we are examining the past with the collectivist revolutionaries like the Rockefellers, HW "NWO" Bush, or Brzezinski and other dead conspirators, the problems they created when they were alive are being added to by those of their ilk who are still alive.

WE must be aware that the Trump administration has, at best, been INFILTRATED with close to 100 members of the CFR. Want names? Ask.

As a former airline employee, we were told never to talk to the media about things that are company business related.
Every business owner knows you CANNOT trust any big media connected journalist to write accurately and factually about the exchange (the interview).
The WSJ has CFR member journalists like Peggy Noonan, who slam Trump at every opportunity! Why wouldn't she? She's been a globalist propaganda agent at the WSJ for many years!
