AI trained to find racists tweets backfires

Note how the apologists bend over backwards to claim that the AI just wasn't trained properly. Pure nonsense. The fact is that in the US, those decrying racism are those continuously thinking about it and viewing everything through a racist lens. They're projecting.

Don't ya just hate it when that chip on your shoulder gets picked up by Reality and used to hit you upside the head?!?!

Yeah, it's nice to see karma bitch slap someone when it's needed. Does my heart good.

And it never ceases to amaze me that entire aims and goals and movements can be centered around a concept as nebulous as a fog bank.

One of the biggest offenders is the term "fair share". I have yet to be able to get a liberal pinned down to the point he/she could define what a "fair share" really was. Personally, I would like to see mandatory jail time for anyone who uses the term "fair share" without actually defining it.

Another entry into this 100% subjective cloud bank is "hate speech". The only way anyone can define hate speech is by using other 100% subjective terms like "offensive".

Sorry. I'll get off my soapbox now.

      Don't get off. I'll join you. ;)

I agree 100% that many people don't bother to actually THINK about what it is they want to adopt. They jump into the deep end without even bothering to check the water temperature, color, depth, or for crocodiles or sharks just waiting for them. And all this despite the signs posted saying "Danger!" or "Keep Out!"

The other thing which is antithetical to freedom is that in the subjective world of the socialist/progressive, they use these types of catch-alls to go after whomever offends their sensibilities at the time OR to justify the speech of those they canonize. There is no objectivity to the process whatsoever, which is maddening and revealing at the same time. I think its hilarious when they try to apply objectivity (such as a computer algorithm) to a subjective idea only to find out that it not only doesn't justify them at all, but rather justifies their erstwhile opponents!

+1 for "...offends their sensibilities at the time..." It's almost like it's a "cause du jour".

I keep hearing a phrase Ayn Rand used so effectively time and time again in Atlas Shrugged: "The expediency of the moment."

It's been close to 20 years since I first read A.S., and it seems like almost every day I see something else in society that virtually mirrors something in that masterpiece.

Add to that the phrase "Living Wage." The people who peddle these phrases operate from the mental perspective of a toddler. Ice creams and pony rides for everyone.

Trump used the term, Kung Flu.
That's so deeply offensive to all the idiots who exist only for the hope of being deeply offended, ingesting every micro-turd of nothingness, especially if the President mentions it.

Yesterday, the fake news, in a frenzied fever-dream, stampeded in vain against Kayleigh McEnany over Kung Flu. Aching for an infinitesimal particle of anti-Trump traction, the bald tires of their journalistic pretense slid further toward the abyss.

[I created some novel metaphors there, if I say so, myself. And I must.]

The lamestream media denies that they are already in freefall after jumping off that cliff called hyper-partisanship. They're like Wile E. Coyote after realizing that the Roadrunner is standing on the edge of the cliff and they aren't, they just don't have the decency to wave on the way down.

I saw that performance. Those 2-3 who kept on king flu just couldn’t let it go. They have not learned that she doesn’t accept their grandstanding crap. A few have and seem to have gone back to asking mostly reasonable questions. I have to admit I enjoy watcher her stand up to them and be fully prepared for them.

You know one of these days her “and your network said ... on this day” is going to be “you yourself wrote”. And it will be glorious.

ThanQ for posting :) The can’t help but project. It is a narcissist trait.
I often ask libs to define racism. It’s like handing them a rubik cube. Everything they say sounds stupid even to them. They get angry and smash the cube. Lmao
