Doctors Sue FDA, HHS Over Hydroxychloroquine Restrictions

"Entrenched, politically biased officials at the FDA should not be allowed to interfere with Americans' right to access medication donated to the federal government for public use," Schlafly says. "By preventing Americans' use of HCQ as a prophylaxis, the FDA is infringing on First Amendment rights to attend religious services or participate in political events such as political conventions, town halls, and rallies in an important election year."

"FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn states that the FDA does not interfere with physicians' ability to prescribe HCQ, and yet at the same time the FDA denies access by millions of Americans to 150 million doses of it in the national stockpile," Schlafly adds. "This irrational hoarding by government is an abuse of power."

If it is as deadly as they make it out to be I am surprised they have not put it out OTC for general consumption. This entire pandemic and the resulting lockdown ordeal did more killing than the virus itself. At 68 if I had contracted the flu they would have sent me to a nursing home to infect the others and die so we all get off the government teats.

If aspirin came out today, it would be available by prescription only. The nanny state would never let a drug like aspirin go over the counter today. Same is true of this drug. There are actually much better drugs put there to fight COVID-19 and it is true that studies have found that this drug really is not that useful but that does not mean we should regulate the stuff. We just need to ensure that drugs are what they say they are and stop regulating what drugs are available. In other words, the FDA role should SOLELY be to combat fraud and so long as you are given the drug you choose to buy, they really should have no say over what you choose to put in your own body.

Check your studies. The two major studies cited as evidence of HCQ’s ineffectiveness have been proven as shams. The majority of Dr.s polled say HCQ with zinc and Zpak is the preferred treatment and the sooner the better.

Many YT videos by Drs trying to treat patients, and one in Texas was denied her prescriptions by many pharmacies. Why? They need the "pandemic" to continue into November, and we will see masks required in Demonrat states by June 24 or so. hence the "2nd wave" and the endorsement of protestors, and their gatherings by them. If Americans would just think it through, they would be furious with the Deep State for intentionally trying to kill them in a totally irresponsible method.

No one is sent to a nursing home over the flu or to spread the flu. While people are being sent to nursing homes to get rid of them, even the government is not that callous (yet).

You might want to research what Governor Cuomo mandated here in NY regarding nursing homes and covid positive clients. Over 30% of the deaths in NY came from nursing homes.

You might want to reread what is written instead of reacting like that. I said that no one is sent to nursing homes over the flu or to spread the flu. This is 100% accurate. That does not mean that people do not die as a result of the flu but no government official ever said, "hey take all these people who have the flu (or COVID-19) and send them over to the nursing home so we can kill everyone" instead they simply do not take enough precautions once the flu or COVID-19 ends up in the nursing home. Big difference.

Once again your info is faulty! Correct that no one was sent to a nursing home because they got the flu or covid. Cuomo mandated that those who were already in homes who did test positive and were hospitalized be sent back to the home rather than remain isolated in the hospital. Apparently you didn't get my sarchasm in my original post. I would rather have a democrat push me over the cliff than to end up in a nursing home.

My point is intent. Your point is what happened. Can we just agree it was still incompetence, rather than malice? It is just that their incompetence is so bad that it rises to criminal recklessness, which is a characteristic of involuntary manslaughter. I really think that Cuomo is simply not competent enough to act with the malice aforethought that is required for murder. He lacks the reasoning capabilities to constructively engage in premeditation or even to conceptualize that their actions will lead to death. That actually means we should be more scared of Cuomo than coming face to face against a competent cold-blooded killer since you might be able to reason with the killer....

With or without Intent his actions and mandates resulted in the deaths of many of our cherished elders. Between father Mario, Andrew and Chris I doubt there is enough intelligence to pass an IQ test. The fact that NY voters continue to elect these wingnuts also says a lot about the NY voters. They all three belong in NYC and should not be allowed above the Tapanzee now Cuomo bridge.

zagros says the important word is 'intent', there was no intention to kill.
                nickusis says it was intentional.

My take is that while 'no intent' may be technically correct, the decision was 'culpable'. Death resulted from those decisions.

The decision makers were not laymen or bystanders, they had responsibility for the oldies under their care, they should have evaluated the consequences. They did not, I think in legal language this means not murder but manslaughter.

Zagros, with respect, it WAS intentional. Right after NY instituted the requirement that Nursing homes MUST take in COVID19 positive people, that they could not reject them even if unable to properly care for them, many other states copied the order word for word and instituted it. That is clear and direct malice, and intent to murder. Cuopmo and all the demonrat governors who did this should be arrested for 1st degree murder.

Possible that the governors are helping to suppress the demographics of COVID to hide their guilt until they can pass laws to relieve themselves of the responsibility for those deaths? Or to be able to say "we didn't know" when it should have been obvious?

My guess is they don't give a crap about the demographics, since they do not give a crap about people, except their little sphere of elites. Notice everyplace they infest, there is always the drama, the upset, the division, needed to enable their genius at "fixing problems" they never fix. Obama was a master at that, 8 years of "change" and all he did was set the deep state up in full control of the Federal Govt. That is why it has taken three years just to get to where they can openly start listing their crimes. Bolton being called a "Traitor" may be the start of the revelations.

Once again, do not be quite so callous. This is a case of incompetence, not malice. You really need to remember to never ascribe to malice that which can be adequately explained by incompetence. The government is simply way too incompetent to be able to be that malicious.

If the explanation is incompetence, then there will be examples of destructive acts that will harm those who do them, by their own standards. Where there is incompetence, there are self-destructive incidents. Otherwise I infer malice; no exceptions.

If you want to argue for incompetence, then show us examples by which the same people who interfered with HCQ for the USA citizenry did things that, by their own standards, caused harm and that were mistakes. Do so, and I will be convinced. If not, it's malice.

You're right. Appears it's just hard for me to wrap me olde prehistoric mind around such a profoundly beyond dense as dirt level of incompetence.
The elderly being the most fatally endangered by the Covid-19 pandemic, where should you put Covid-19 patients?
Why, shucks--a-huck! a-huck!--I know. I know whar thar be plenty o' space. Let's jes' stick 'em inter dem nursin' homes o'er that aways. Yep!
A-huck! A-huck! Problem solved. Fer rocket science smarts, am I not ther cock o' the walk or whut?

I looked at the AAPS website and they look ok to me.
I could not find the number of members, a class of non-medic membership is available at no charge.

Expect their public profile to come under attack by the usual activists claiming they are: Science deniers, radicals, use anecdotal evidence, irresponsible, put money over human life, libertarians, Trump supporters, and are far right, extreme right, hard right, at some stage they will be called 'racist'.

Related news: the UN agency controlled by China, the WHO, (where the H stands for 'health' would you believe) is putting the hard word on Indonesia to ban HCQ.

I don't think there's a case for the FDA Fool and Dunce Administration's existence at all, per the USA Constitution.

We can expect a surprise malaria epidemic as those doctors who insist on treating patients properly start diagnosing malaria on trivial or counterfeit evidence so that they can prescribe HCQ to their patients.

Thousands, hundreds of thousands of cases of suspected malaria could suddenly spring up among patients diagnosed with Covid 19. Mosquitoes are notorious for getting into places where they're not wanted! The FDA stays in the pristine labs analyzing and analyzing what has been proven effective elsewhere exhausting drug manufacturers' patience and wallets, it is not on the front lines dealing with the sick patients or distraught relatives hoping their loved ones survive. It has happened too often in this day and age.

HCQ may have been approved as safe for the last 65 years, but darn, that dastardly usurper of The Evil Hag's throne just had to go and recommend it. That means all of Trump's forever howling professional detractors automatically attacked, vilified and put down using the stuff as being stupid (due to that TDS being what Trump is supposed to be). Even the FDA said "Buck! Buck! Buck!" and transformed from a chicken into an ostrich that stuck its head deeply down into sand.
Oh, well, such a reaction has come to be fully ex[ected. Trump has said that, even if he ever cured cancer, he would be attacked for putting a whole bunch of medical specialists out of business.

This all came about after Fauci started meeting with Oama and leading liberals. This would not be the first time he either shelved a drug idea, on to have it later marketed by a pal, instead of the inventor. His buddy is behind the next favorite drug in use, and what a profit he could made if Hydroxy..... could be taken out of the picture. This jerk who lied to Trump about tyhe virus, made in the labe he gave $3 million to. He should be fired.
