Like the couple running for te country in Anthem, or Logans Run, like Hitlers call teh rat out your neighbors, that is how communist work. That is what we have in libeals today, until it comes for them! They have already make TV a propaganda machine, and basically turn kids from real boks, certainly not in today's houses do you see bookshelves. Only we can stop it, if we will.

I just heard Garrett i in la county requiring no one to walk on dry sand (but walking on wet sand was ok). He must have forgotten that a group of dedicated freedom lovers could wet down a path through the dry sand to get to wet sand by the beach- thus circumventing the incredibly stupid ruling. There is plenty of sea water to continually reset any sand which dried out

He should have been arrested not only for stupidity but for having a straw hole in the first place....straws have been banned because they are bad for the environment. He should get life in prison at the very least.

Sometimes I think it would be really nice if people (especially my teenagers) would get back to actually talking to other people. The constant memes, texting, and video games don't help them meet people or make friends...

Social distancing. It is amazing to me how terms and slogans get engineered into society by way of endless repetition.

It started out as physical distancing, a much more accurate selection of words. To me social distancing would be the cessation of everybody using social media that is fueling the hysteria amongst the intellectually enfeebled masses.

Having visited lib Brother Steve in Las Angeles during the Seventies, it was during the early Nineties when he came visiting and we were in Florida that I asked him if car drivers there are still flipping each other off like crazy. Steve said that stopped when gang-bangers started shooting at people for stuff like that.

That guy would get shot on any California highway. People there more often are 10+ over even in the slow lanes...

About a decade ago I told my very conservative Brother Joe that I read about a guy who bragged that he would get into the fast lane of a crowded interstate just so he could force drivers behind him to obey the speed limit.
To that, Joe said, "He's a socialist."
Joe would say the same about that obnoxious customer in that grocery store. So would I.

I was in the grocery store and didn't notice the arrows on the floor designating which way to go down the aisles. There was a customer yelling at everyone who was going the wrong way. Most people didn't even notice the arrows. He was rude and obnoxious.

Old ladies who sorely miss "No running with scissors" and other authorities they once had over people, and are lonely and scared.

The day that I get hollered for not wearing a mask is the day that the offended gets both hands raised high with the single finger salute ... along with a very open faced grin. F-em'.

Good short. I would expect that one of those two guys would have concealed carry. Changes the dynamics just a bit. Might I suggest the LCP2?

I've played it, but its in a closed room - similar to racquetball. I can see someone freaking out about that. So ridiculous.

Mine too. Wearing a mask when you are outdoors and exercising seems the height of STUPIDITY. Right up there with the mask design I saw somewhere which had a straw hole so you could drink without taking the mask off...

How about the nevada governor actually suggesting that pickleball is an acceptable sport to play during this "phase 1" re opening. He is so out of touch. No one I know even knew what that was...

I am so tired of this antisocial distancing and mask stuff. I think this whole corona thing is overblown and is just an excuse to force people to do things that some bureaucrat thinks is a good idea.

Masks are pretty much useless to protect yourself, so why wear them. I steer clear of anyone sneezing or coughing as a general rule anyway. I dont need lines on the floor. As to closing the economy, I think that was just STUPID at best, and EVIL at worst.

Yesterday I was in a grocery store and near the end of a checkout line I saw a lady with an empty cart searching for something in her purse. We were both wearing masks.
Just as I was starting to to pass by about five feet away I leaned toward her and politely asked if she was in line.
She pointed toward the cash register at a six foot distancing line and irritably said, "You need to get behind that line right there!"
I did while saying, "Well, that answered my question."

Amen. Masks (unless they are hospital quality) aren't going to keep you from getting the virus. All they do is help you recirculate anything you already have. They're a complete waste of time IMO.

Tennis? Seriously? What sport is BETTER at social distancing? You've got like 30 feet between you and your opponent! Just mindless.

    Excellent!

That sort of happened in our town.
    1. We were playing tennis at the HS, couple of us connected all year around. Finally someone made such an issue of is, they locked the courts. However, we found another. Police drive by all the time, and don't make an issue if the ignorant, afraid people don't complain. Playing again today. Not one person in all my circles has been diagnosed positive.
    2. Girl was running on a track at HER high school. Old woman with mask walking on the track (why do you need a track to walk?) called the police, who dutifully told the girl she needed to stay away (but for sure have no interest in doing anything). The girl had avoided the woman, by running on the opposite side, but that was inadequate.
    3. Man running in town, without a mask got yelled at by an old woman that he needed to wear a mask.

The better not happen to me or the old woman, better be armed or 3 feet from her car. Otherwise she is getting life explained to her at DI decibels, and a little more than breathed on.

    My patience are up.

maybe THATs the kind of social distancing that we need- to protect FROM the government, not from the virus
