My hamster car goes from 0-60 in like 6 seconds on a 1.6l engine. Not bad. No wonder ford stock is like $5 and has dumped for the last 5-6 years at least.

My 07 Ford Ranger gets 25MPH no matter how I drive it so long as I keep at Air off...going on 240K miles on it now and still looks good...better than the UUUUUUUUGLY so called Ranger they make now.

Rainman, the blower dryer is technically more green. I used to replace the ROLLED CLOTH Towels back in the day, then eventually the paper towels. Which end up in the garbage, not recycled because it's in a bathroom.

The $ cost of running that machine on electricity is less than the paper handling for rolls of paper (which ALWAYS run out at the same time), and the net garbage they produce. That's why companies tend to like to install them.

They SUCK because it takes a bit longer, and I think can lead to a spread of germs!
I prefer paper towels, single sheets, or touchless rolls... But, I believe there is less impact on the environment with the hot-air.
Especially considering the consumable involved, it's handling, shipping, manufacturing, and disposal.

I get 36 mpg in my little Kia Soul, and it carries 13 gals of gas. Its just very convenient and cheap. I am not going electric anytime soon

What's wrong with good and tasty food? Maybe disease laden if picking buns of the floor, as I once saw a worker do while making a sandwich. Any food which a body gets what it needs is good food. More importantly, is whether the stuff is palatable and eating in moderation.

You can't go very far with them...most cars can go 350 to 400 miles on a tank and economy cars can reach 450 miles on a tank.
Tesla can't even go near that unless you want to drive 25 miles an hour...might as well go backwards.

Tesla is cool, but VERY expensive. Still runs out of electricity when battery is cold, takes a long time to charge, and god help your budget if the thing breaks

Electric cars are simpler in some ways, but I really doubt they are as practical as current cars. The whole idea of having to wait a long time to recharge, and the relative lack of recharging facilities, and the dropoff in range with lower temperatures- these things take the glow off of purely electric cars.
Maybe the original VOLT car with a backup gas engine if you run out of electricity would be a better alternative, but that seems to have died out.

Just a negatory comment here, I suppose, but on a good day, I wouldn't trust Michael Moore to speak my weight and fortune. (if you don't get the reference, ask someone older.)

A number of years ago, when the concept of Bio Diesel was still relatively young, someone sat down and essentially did what Michael Moore just did. And he estimated that it would take 7 gallons of Bio diesel fuel burned in total to produce 8 gallons of Bio diesel fuel.

And next time someone extols the environmental virtues of paperless hand dryers, ask him/her to try and explain why it's so good for the environment when the machine itself had to be manufactured in a plant (which required electricity); and since it takes electricity to run it once it's mounted, where that electricity comes from.
