Moore is proof that you need not be a genius, let alone have brains, to become a millionaire if you are pushing the right cart, e.g. the agenda of the left.
Nobody will question you, as long as your crap fits the party line.
The admittance of his ignorance should be enough to disqualify him. Not in today's political environment.
The guy is just a useless bag of propaganda gas,, when people who thought said the same thing, he crucified them as oil drinking climate deniers. Nope, a turd is a turd, always.
Worst by what standard or worst? What's wrong with good and tasty food? Maybe disease laden if picking buns of the floor, as I once saw a worker do while making a sandwich. Any food which a body gets what it needs is good food. More importantly, is whether the stuff is palatable and eating in moderation.
Garbage meat cooked to death...nothing like a hamburger at a good restaurant and nothing like they used to serve back in the 60s. Today, eating a McDonald's hamburger will make me sick
A long time ago, in a universe far, far away...wait, wrong intro...
A number of years ago, when the concept of Bio Diesel was still relatively young, someone sat down and essentially did what Michael Moore just did. And he estimated that it would take 7 gallons of Bio diesel fuel burned in total to produce 8 gallons of Bio diesel fuel.
And next time someone extols the environmental virtues of paperless hand dryers, ask him/her to try and explain why it's so good for the environment when the machine itself had to be manufactured in a plant (which required electricity); and since it takes electricity to run it once it's mounted, where that electricity comes from.
Rainman, the blower dryer is technically more green. I used to replace the ROLLED CLOTH Towels back in the day, then eventually the paper towels. Which end up in the garbage, not recycled because it's in a bathroom.
The $ cost of running that machine on electricity is less than the paper handling for rolls of paper (which ALWAYS run out at the same time), and the net garbage they produce. That's why companies tend to like to install them.
They SUCK because it takes a bit longer, and I think can lead to a spread of germs! I prefer paper towels, single sheets, or touchless rolls... But, I believe there is less impact on the environment with the hot-air. Especially considering the consumable involved, it's handling, shipping, manufacturing, and disposal.
Nuclear is the answer for lowering carbon, and less pollution. Gen IV... But I think Michael Moore may be LEADING and PACING the left a bit, and trying to get out ahead of Trump.
The Green New Deal CRAP is NOT popular, and NOT NOW!
BUT, take your opponents side, and use their weight against them... Force them to accept that Nuclear has ZERO Carbon output!
And ask them: What do you want to do with the Nuclear Waste from old Reactors? (Because Gen IV lets you use THAT as it's power source! Helping to get rid of the problem)...
I think we are on the verge of major shifts. Over the next 40 years, much more nuclear power, and the closing of HALF of the liberal colleges due to their utter failure. The re-instatement of Vocational Educations and Trades. And back to building things here...
Just a negatory comment here, I suppose, but on a good day, I wouldn't trust Michael Moore to speak my weight and fortune. (if you don't get the reference, ask someone older.)
Wow! This isn't rocket science! Just a little "independent" thinking and common sense! After 30 years he finally had an epiphany.......like waking from a coma.
The electricity will come from all the solar and wind power sites we'll build, with AOC's Green New Deal. Duh!
But first, we'll have to dismantle all those nasty hydroelectric and nuclear generating stations, putting thousands more out of work, to save the planet.
Electric cars are simpler in some ways, but I really doubt they are as practical as current cars. The whole idea of having to wait a long time to recharge, and the relative lack of recharging facilities, and the dropoff in range with lower temperatures- these things take the glow off of purely electric cars. Maybe the original VOLT car with a backup gas engine if you run out of electricity would be a better alternative, but that seems to have died out.
Actually you wait less time to refuel than with gas machines. They charge overnight in your garage. Everyday you start out with 300 miles in the 'tank'. You never have to visit a gas station again.
300 miles if it’s not cold and you use the heater- or you dont use the a/c when it’s hot. And you don’t take a trip from Las Vegas to California. They look cool, but totally impractical fir me
I read somewhere that the tax breaks for Tesla are no more. I hope thats true. Whatever government tries to do by redistributing wealth seems to be just the wrong thing.
They are preparing for a straight mileage charge probably in addition to the fuel tax. Now we in Nevada have to report odometer mileage upon vehicle annual registration
Tesla is cool, but VERY expensive. Still runs out of electricity when battery is cold, takes a long time to charge, and god help your budget if the thing breaks
Cheapest is Model 3 at $40,000 up- real lowest pricing more like $43,000. The most popular Model S is $80,000 up. (Per the Tesla website.) Thankfully we taxpayers aren't donating $7,500 per car to Tesla drivers any more. When are they going to pay their share of road taxes? Looters. In 2019 the average new electric vehicle cost in US was $55, 681. In 2019 the average new mid-size gasoline vehicle cost in US was $25,855.
You can't go very far with them...most cars can go 350 to 400 miles on a tank and economy cars can reach 450 miles on a tank. Tesla can't even go near that unless you want to drive 25 miles an hour...might as well go backwards.
My 07 Ford Ranger gets 25MPH no matter how I drive it so long as I keep at Air off...going on 240K miles on it now and still looks good...better than the UUUUUUUUGLY so called Ranger they make now. Most cars these days are ugly as sin and each model has 12 others that look like it.
My hamster car goes from 0-60 in like 6 seconds on a 1.6l engine. Not bad. No wonder ford stock is like $5 and has dumped for the last 5-6 years at least.
Yep...they all are a collective of ugliness these days...American Trucks and what's left of America's hot rods are the only things unique these days.
Ford never understood why people bought Rangers...perfect for house owners, still economical to drive to work and could carry safely 3 times it rated carrying or pulling capacity...no need for a 10' tall truck that needs a step latter to get into...never mind trying to fit one of those into 1/2 a 24x24 garage.
Moore isn't entirely awake yet. While he is truthful about the idiocy of the New Green Deal, he never mentions the cleanest form of energy, nuclear. Instead he's back in the 1970s, predicting worldwide starvation from over population. I guess he must have pulled out his old copy of "The Population Bomb."
Ok, here is his movie and it's FREE on youtube, Lets see just how woke he is. It is said: It's very unfair to al gore... https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_co...

They do NOT comment about Nuclear.
