If We Don't Get Four More Years?

If we don't get four more years of Trump what do you think would be good adjustments to make as an Objectivist or any self-respecting non-leftie? Would hiding of assets be advisable? Make sure to have real estate in a deep red state (not purple like Texas of Nevada)? What might be a good idea?

Bloomberg was more than happy to castigate Crazie Bernie for his hypocrisy on the rich but the field was more than happy to call into question Bloomberg's #MeToo problems. Gotta love the feeding frenzy!

I would suggest that the attraction of billions in advertising money would indeed get media to promote bloomberg. The democratic party would also want to get bloomberg to fund other democratic campaigns, so they would support him. The democrats dont like Sanders and will actively undermine him (again).

In the end, since bloomberg isnt really likeable very much, he might just hope to get to a brokered convention and then support a return of Hillary or even Michelle Obama with a promise he would fund their campaign iin order to defeat Trump

I made myself laugh a bit while watching Bloomberg squirm. What if The Socialist, Pocahontas, Mayor Pete, and Minnesota Nice all drop out, and the final debate is between Sleepy Joe and Mikey Bloomberg? How funny would it be to listen to these two total screw-ups try NOT to out-screw-up each other?

I do not agree. Things will happen quickly. Like a market crash, gold confiscation, gun confiscation, civil war.

EVERY Democrat candidate has basically said they will rule by fiat. Obama was the TEST and the Republicans FAILED to CHECK him.

If you value your life, the lives of all Americans, and the continuation of the GREATEST country in History, you will ensure you and all your friends vote for Trump on November 3rd.

There will be no going back from the next Democratic president UNLESS they've spent a GENERATION or two in the wilderness after having been PUNISHED to maximum of the law for their crimes.

I just know there are Californians coming in droves...perhaps not to your county, but Travis, Harris, and definitely Dallas are becoming overrun. I know this because some of my friends from other affinity groups are those people.

It's not an immediate thing. Takes time to change, but I am afraid it will happen, and if we move back, it's forever for us, no matter what.

Don't sell Texas short. I live in the largest county (area wise) and if you aren't a Republican, you can't get elected.

Didn't you love Petie when he said he was in a loving relationship. Then he attacks Christian values? I don't care to hear about anyone's sexual preferences especially in a Presidential race.

Trump win or lose, I am extremely concerned about Texas going forward. The cities are just going nuts, turning blue.....and they have a LOT of people in them.

For example, there are more people in JUST the DFW area than in the entire state of Oklahoma. I didn't realize this until we were leading the moving van from DFW north to OK. Our current plans are to return to TX....but it makes me nervous. The only reason we are really even considering moving back is due to our family members, especially the grandkids. It's lonely up here.

OK seems to be pretty solidly red, though I am hearing some blue influences in the two biggest cities. It's concerning.

You don't think they'll make "excuses" for him, so they have a chance to overcome Trump? (That's a real question, not a statement of opposition.) It just occurred to me that they might overlook a LOT to get their grubby hands back on the power button.

My choice was Tennessee - weather is not too bad and relatively low taxes and such.

They all need MY money to implement their insanity. Its pretty clear. I think Bloomberg is going to get into a real problem with the settlements he made for sexual harassment claims. He has no idea how vicious the left is when it comes to that stuff.

I will revolt for sure. Cut my living expenses by 10-20%. If a lot of people did that, it would be a bitter taste for the new administration and cut their income stream used to control us.

Its time to move to much smaller cities, where people are more down to earth and less socialist.

If no more 4 years, the new president will have to undo pretty much anything that trump did by executive order, and within their first 100 days of the new administration. They will do executive orders to open the borders and increase governmental fees as fast as they can.

its unlikely that the democrats would control both houses of congress, so anything bad that requires congressional approval wont go anywhere (fortunately).

Tariffs will be eliminated on china immediately, but it wont increase economic output since companies in the usa will continue to STOP domestic production and move it to china and other asian countries.
Climate change taxes and regulations will go into effect.

The net result of all this will be an economic recession settling in for 2021 and beyond.

Medicare for all will take on a life of its own, raising payroll taxes as fast at they can implement them, and causing massive dislocations in medical care.

    So, what to do?
    1) Get whatever elective medical care you need before a democratic administration gets their hands on it.
    2) Get healthier any way you can
    3) Prepare for 10% inflation in the US dollar
    4) Execute any necessary big purchases before 2021
    5) Cut discretionary and unnecessary expenses at least 10% to signal your displeasure at the new administration. This will cut their immediate income stream substantially and can delay implementation of their policies (of course they will just raise the tax rates to compensate, but that will take time)

You could try my strategy and work within the system in the hopes of having an effect down the road.

I am a high school teacher.

Wasn't this the same type of question when Obama won? The greatest beneficiaries were gun and government bond dealers. He did however manage to do something incredible, make the Democratic party even more stupid.

Me dino is content to live in "Sweet Home Alabama" buit I was shocked to learn for watching Judge Pirro that Birmingham ranks #3 for a homicde rate in the USA's most murderous cities.
I live in one of B'ham's many so-called "satellite cities" or what a phone book for used to call "The Greater Birmingham" area fior several years. These days all I get dropped off free are Yellow Pages.
Oh, well, I've known for years the are parts of Birmingham to avoid and I've for very long been a concealed carry with never a reason to pull my pocket pistol.
As like what an actress who played the wife of a top official in a classic samaurai movie said about a good sword staying in its sheath, me dino sez, "A good concealed carry remains concealed."
Oh, by the way, the top ten most murderous cities in the USA has a common denominator~~Democrat mayors!
