    I’ve had 3 Golden Retrievers
Maxwell Smart, Kirby , and Mulligan.
Kirby was very sharp . The other 2 not so much. All 3 made it to 12 years old . I had selected Kirby from a litter of 9. Two days before she could be picked up I got a call at work from my wife.
She was visiting her mom and they went to a pet store to show her what kind of dog we were getting. Her mom wanted to buy Maxwell Smart for us , I said nooooo but it was to late the line went dead. Lmao. I called three pet stores in mother in laws town. The store said “Oh they just left.” He was a puppy mill dog .I think his head was hollow. Sad thing is they came into the house 2 days apart and they died 2 days apart.

Takes me back to my best friend Jake. A yellow golden and lab mix. I had to let him go about 7 yrs ago. But a framed photo of him still hangs over the fireplace.

I clocked my friend Fred, a Texas Dog, at 30 mph. He loves to run. Glad I have a huge yard. He does loopy loops around the block. He climbed a tree one day and I let him get down the same way he got up.

Thanks for the laughs...we have one that barks at her reflection, watches tv and barks at demoncraps.

Another that waits till I'm all tucked into bed then pulls the covers off!

    PS>>>MEMES UP!

Yup. Retrievers though tend to think they are always hungry, even after stuffing themselves. Had one I had to feed and take the dish away, they seem sort of bulimic...

He was hungry. The owner should have fed him before the race...😁
