American journalist James Foley was beheaded by ISIS and another journalist, Steven Sotloff is next?? Can anyone verify this?

    And as much as it is obvious, it is sad that the Administration still refuses to acknowledge the existence of these groups as terror groups with a philosophical underpinning in Islam. You can't fight something you are unwilling to identify and confront.

      Why would the left acknowledge the barbarity when the left actually admires it? I think the reason normally atheistic leftists always rush to give Islam a pass, regardless of what heinous acts are perpetrated, is because Islam has shown the way on how to convert large swaths of the population into mindlessly obedient slave-like automatons, which is the Mecca of leftist ideology. No pun intended, of course.

          The state is their religion. "mindlessly obedient slave-like automatons": think "sheeple". In order to bring about the leftist ideal or Islamist ideal in America, the current nation has to be drastically modified or even destroyed.

            Those two are at odds with one another. The same people who reject organized religion do not want an Islamic ideal, much less an "Islamist ideal".

              What the leftist ideal has in common with the Islamist ideal is an overwhelming centralized authority.

              Each will play ball with the other, thinking that at the end of the day their faction will be the last man standing.

              Their final desires for society are not at odds with one another at this moment in history. Both desire an obedient and docile population regarding the party line and an obedient and hostile population regarding anything that may question the party line. A free America with individual liberties is anathema to both and must be put down. Keep in mind Islam is not just a religion, it is a political ideology that is very statist.

    Don't ya thinks just maybe the Russians and the Chinese should join us in bombing ISIS, if we had a real leader it might happen, The whole world needs to help get rid of this scum. Sorry for the rant.
