None of these people have been prosecuted, but Roger Stone is being prosecuted…and punished severely,” Carter told Dobbs.

    Our government is crooked to its core, and that includes the FBI and DOJ. Hillary and crew go free while anyone who worked with Trump gets the book thrown at them.

    I dont trust our legal system anymore. I just want nothing to do with it.

            we need to go back to a republic with a constitution and NOT a mob rule democracy. Until that happens, this society is doomed. If its the mythical "benevolent dictator" in power, its better than what we have now. Unfortunately, dictators that start out as "benevolent" quickly turn into monsters once they are in power- so that definitely doesnt work.

              Citizens must keep a sense of participation by voting. A "republic with a constitution" is the ideal. But, until there are term limits, those that stay in the government their entire career will not be benevolent. They will become entitled (in their mind). That is when the trouble begins. They begin to think they know better than the rest of us. Our country and government has become so large that groups with their own dictators form and try to impose their ideals on the rest of us.

                  "...doesn’t forbid laws which take from one to give to another..." I've wondered about that, too, term2. I think initially it did just that, but then came two things:
                  1) The income tax amendment. ("Tax the rich! Tax the rich!" BS)
                  2) IMHO, misinterpretation of the word "promote" to mean "provide" in the general welfare clause.

                    once it was ok to take from one and give to another, all bets were off and look at where we are now. everyone looks to the government for their "share" of the goodies, and no one wants to pay for their neighbors goodies. No wonder there is no unity in the ocuntry- its evry person for himself

    Can someone be more despicable than that? “The Court does not mean to minimize…”

    Really? The fact is the hag walked. But she did not “minimize in the Stone case. 40 months is still exorbitant for nothing.

    I have listened to Stone in interviews and I'm convinced he should be left alone. He's a political prisoner now. But, probably not for long. And...here's the rub. The President will pardon him and the media will try to make it sound like an issue during the campaign. But, it isn't. But...facts don't really matter anymore.

    From what I understand, the Forelady of his jury was very prejudiced against him; and, if what I heard about that is true, the whole trial should be invalidated, and he should get a new trial.

    Speaking from experience, I have a very low opinion of the District Judges in my County. One was so bad, the 1st Court of Appeals cited him with 'Abuse of Office' 9 times in an Opinion. Another District Judge let an attorney from our AG's office tamper with a jury and did nothing! Our DA was said to have 'Ignored Texas Law' in a particular case. All the beforementioned was done in one case. The AG of our state, now Governor didn't even know what was going on in his own office.
