Ancient Antarctic ice melt caused extreme sea level rise 129,000 years ago – and it could happen again

Uh, wait a minute here...we KNOW (because the global warming people tell us so) that the only changes in climate are directly caused by man, adding CO2 into the atmosphere by burning fossil fuel. Ergo, this article is completely fake, because EVERYONE knows that man wasn't around 129,000 years ago to add CO2. Fake News!!!

See how making up your own "facts" invariably collides with real facts? This article just adds to the evidence that climate change is cyclical and is not something you will ever control or change, just adapt to it. Yet, even then, they managed to spin the ovious contradiciton into a "science based fact statement" on global warming, and the horrible dangers caused by man. IN other words, facts made into propaganda,...All for money..

Been down this road before. Let's look at the math, ok? The largest of the most used ice core samples are 135mm in diameter or about 0.7 square foot. The earth's surface is about 5.49 Quadrillion square feet. The authors of these types of articles (research?) want us to believe that a sample of 0.7/5.49quadrillion is adequate to determine (declare?) a planetary mean temperature accurate to within a couple of degrees C for a given time period assuming they can even get the date correct for the sample. All this from the same type of folks that use billions of taxpayer dollars to fund a weather forecasting system that can't guarantee the temperature forecast next week within 2 degrees C.

True story to illustrate the absurdity of the above: Some friends of me and my wife were with us at an event in Gettysburg, Pa. in late November and left for home when the event was over. We live near Rochester, NY and our friends live near Buffalo, NY (about 90 miles west of Rochester). We headed north towards Rochester and just south of Rochester they turned west to go home. We continued home and in about 55degrees F and decided to do some yard work after our arrival. Our friends never made it home because they got caught in a blizzard and were forced to stay the night on I-90 just east of Buffalo in a temperature of about 25 degrees F buried in snow. Let's think of this in mathematical terms, shall we? The earth is about 25 thousand miles in circumfrance and here we have two local temperature samples within 90 miles of each other. Would either sample be indicative of a planetary mean temperature at that moment? Would an average of the two samples be indicative of a planetary mean temperature at that moment? Not hardly, yet the global warming priests want us to believe that they do.

All true, and the weather example does illustrate the vagaries of data collection. It also is a strong case for just how such sampling would ever been done to be statistically valid. They might have lots of ice cores for a data point, but not really enough to paint a global model.

Then there are other scientific theories that there might have been intelligent beings with advanced technology 129,000 years ago, but some event occurred that destroyed that advanced civilization. Hmmm, maybe that could have caused a temperature change and CO2 was the result, not the cause?

Me dino wrote this before and me dino is writing it again.
There has always been climate change. Just ask the dinosaurs and the wolly mammoths.

I went into WalMart for less than an hour and the temperature dropped 20 degrees! Duh! Who knows what?

Due to the Man Generated Global Warming Impact reduction of you being in Walmart and not running your CO2 emitting beast of a gas burning vehicle. A true believer would know it went UP 30 degrees when you came out and started up. YOU ARE KILLING THE PENGUINS!

It was 20 degrees when I left home this morning for work. Now its 24 degrees. At this rate by tomorrow it will be nearly 116 degrees out there. We are all doomed.
