The Battle to Shape Our Minds

Do you think the major media outlets are fair? Genuinely inquisitive on all sides of an issue? Or do you believe mainstream journalism no longer believes in objective truth—only an advocacy of certain preset perspectives?

If the latter, do you wish to know why? And find out how to remedy it? Then here is an opportunity—an insightful book that pulls together years of research with straight talk. Available in Kindle and paperback formats.

As an undergrad business major (1968) I was required to take courses such as Intro to Journalism. The professor made is plain to the class that our job as journalists was not to report the 'news' as much as to tell people what they need to know, and what we want them to think! I have not trusted media since then.
I too have just bought it - thanks Vinay and Walter

There is little money to be made by just reciting facts. The money to be made by media is to create controversy and drama by bringing out one side and then battling it against another side. Its all about money. 99% of all "news" doesnt affect me at all and I should just ignore it. It is designed to create drama so I listen and watch the ads so they make money.

Suggest you read "Unfreedom of the Press" by Mark Levin. Just finished it. Explains the bias and propaganda efforts of the media clearly and precisely.
