I work in this realm. I will be shocked if the illness is anywhere as near fatal here in the US. Why? This is one reason. Superior engineering and building codes. There are a couple other reasons. I almost fell out of my chair when I saw this in the office this morning - yelling to my colleagues as I forwarded it - "I knew it!"

    If this is a manmade virus as we are being told, and if the pneumonia factor is the danger, we shouldn't be as affected as those in China because more of us have probably been vaccinated for pneumonia. This is a guess of course.
