Finally, someone with common sense to stop arbitrarily handing out American Citizenship to anyone who downloads a fetus on our soil.
No other country does this and I have wondered for decades why the U.S. still allows it. If you are not a citizen, just having a kid on our soil does not make you, or your child an American.

Well perhaps faulty was not the correct word. the Amendment seemed clear enough to me but the fault was in those misinterpreting the intent of the Amendment. I salute Mr. Trump for his timely actions.

The 14th Amendment was not faulty. The faulty aspect was the deliberate misinterpretation of its clause "and subject to its (the U.S.'s) jurisdiction". Illegal aliens are not subject to U.S. jurisdiction, just like families of ambassadors are not subject to U.S. jurisdiction.

I have long thought that Amendment was faulty. It seemed to me it applied to children born to slaves. Look at the date it was enacted. How did it evolve into including people who deliberately come into our country to have their babies?
