I don't mind showing a picture ID. I have a good one. But, I question how someone can get a voter registration card and not be a citizen. How do noncitizens prove their citizenship to our country?

I was a Precinct Judge for years. My cousin died and it took me 5 years to convince the tax office to remove her name from the list.

Well the good news is...on early voting the GOP voters outvoted the Dems 4 to 1. Hooray for our side.

I was already registered to vote. Gave the dodo my Voter ID card. Still wanted picture ID and didn't even know what a Passport was.

It's about damn time! Now if we could get this at EVERY single election site in the country, it would be a big step forward. Then we only have to find a way to keep those pesky dead people from getting to the polls...

Do you mean that all those dead people can no longer vote? How will the Democrats produce extra votes when needed with such “extreme” laws such as this one?

Sounds like the federal RealID requirements starting to take effect. Surprised that the State would be enforcing them, but until you get your state-issued, RealID licenses (which require a LOT of proof-paperwork like your passport, proof of residence, etc), this will be the status quo from here on out.

Why, that's outrageous! How dare they make you prove you're a citizen before you're allowed to vote. The nerve of some people...

EVERYONE should provide proof of citizenship before being registered to vote AND provide valid ID when they do vote. We have to provide that much information just to be able to fly, especially if flying internationally .......

I sincerely believe this is the most important voting I have ever experienced.

Interesting items on the ballot. (1) Vote for/against chemical usage to change a child's sex? (2) Resist any efforts to take guns. (3) Keep prayer in schools. (4) Enhance the Border to protect it.

The dummy had obviously never seen a passport. One of the Judges saluted me and showed the guy what to look for. The picture on my passport was a very recent one. Still had on the same ear rings.
