when I was a youngster, Jan, I read almost all of the science fiction in the library, and then dreamed of intergalactic war as a good way to get the world to focus on reality. maybe the "we-they" conflict with the muslims will introduce some measure of reality ... those are *real* bullets, injuries and casualties! -- j
I hope BO. enjoys kidney stones because of his urinating on and all over the Constitution in just the 6 years he has been the best king this country has ever had. Now would that not be the greatest show on earth. One stone for every syllable he quotes from his personal tele.......
Whereinhell are you going to find 12 virgins? But, to be serious, it doesn't matter how convoluted, if they can squeeze in racism, they'll do it. If you want an example of more subtle use of language, check out their use of the word "deny." If you point out the idiocy of global warming, or as they now prefer to call it, "climate change" and give several pages of proof to back yourself up, they will label you a "Climate Change Denier." Note the parallel inference to "Holocaust Denier." This is why we must be verbal, vocal, in e-mails and social media. You've already got plenty of old guys like me, but it's the Millenials and low-information voters the must be awakened and won over.
Convoluted logic. It's like, you want people of the tribe to die, since you don't believe that the yearly sacrifice of twelve virgins is absolutely necessary to appease the Gods and ensure the harvest.
It is now being put forth that if you deny climate change you are a racist. Why? Because global warming affects poor people who are mostly black and can't afford air conditioners or go where there are air conditioners. Rather a stretch, but you might observe how the race card is being played in every conceivable situation.
I agree. I think the original plan was to keep obummer in office as long as possible. Now they need a new schill (sp???). I guess that would be hillary...

Ya'know teri-amborn, I sometimes find myself thinking that an asteroid impact might be a best-case scenario. It's a hell of a wakeup call, but it would be Reality going, "Knock, knock - Here I am!" without any political cause to act as a focal point.
Depressing, eh? But the optimistic side of me points out that at least I still think that the liberal portion of our population can be re-introduced to common sense if they had a Big Reality Event to contend with.
These people know they are making things up for their own profit, look at Al Gore as an example. This is not about climate change, this is about one world power, and the destruction of the US economy. I have followed this for 15 years, and they are the same players, now adding Obama, who knows nothing about science. If this is put in place, they will go after A/C, refrigeration, red meat, then the right to own property, which the UN thinks is "unsustainable" - unless you happen to be Bush Sr. and own aquifers in countries to the south of the US. Think of the damage to the economy, as how many industries cease to exist, how many workers will be out of work, when their product is banned. Emerson makes A/C and commercial refrigeration equipment, banned at the stroke of a UN pen? How many other companies made cooling units, farmers will have no way to preserve red meat for sale. How many small businesses which maintain and repair such cooling units will be put out of business? Realtors will be unnecessary when property becomes government or UN owned? Think it can't happen, look to Romania, which is almost completely switched over to UN Agenda 21.
He's in enough trouble with the constitution as it is--let him try it!! Soon our representatives will have it out with him. Things are getting too tense to take a back seat to King BO!!
What do you know, a former (supposed) constitutional law professor who doesn't give a damn about the constitution. Every thing about the Obamas is a fraud.

I think that eventually that will happen.
What we Gulchers can do is prepare.
