It looks like the buildre's association that did the work in the first place is offering the reward.
Yes, I did read that. Why does every seemingly good enterprise have rotten underpinnings?

you did read DKs point about the national endowment of the arts funding this meeting house, right? the govt is like the cat lady. once there are millions of cats, eventually they will kill each other off for the limited food. I wish they'd start with the cat lady govt. I wonder who put up the 50k? for some reason I didn't read this post well.

The unions are akin to the KGB. Scare tactics, destruction, intimidation... So no one else who is a skilled craftsman is allowed to work??? I hate reading things like this. It's what brought Pittsburgh to its knees... And is the reason I really can't tolerate unions to this day.

I am trying to figure out why any of this surprised me. Tax payer money to build it---union money to burn it down. I guess this is the country we live in now.

to which point are you referring? the grant from NEA (endowment of arts) or unions saying 'you can't build this by yourself'?

This is hard to believe. I understand having different opinions but putting others at risk to make a point crosses the line. Hopefully something will be done about this.
