Millions of Americans Have a Parasite and Don't Realize It
I have wondered about this for years and finally made a quick search and here's what I found! I often wondered, if we are supposed to worm our cats and dogs, and they can pass worms to each other so easily - why aren't people being infected as well? Well, based on this article they are - to the tune of many millions of US citizens! So, why aren't doctors following up and this and worming us humans? Especially those who own pets know to carry them!

- 2Posted by AMeador1 4 years, 4 months agoI can see that angle - but I think it is a systemic issue of learned incompetence more than anything else. They could give people a test (that they charge for) and prescribe meds to deal with it if there is anything found - just like any other issues. I don't think that they are intentionally letting it go so they can get the larger amount of business later - maybe some of them would do this - just like there are turds in every kind of business, but I don't think that is the majority.| Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink
