Everyone has been saying why the FISA judges haven't spoken up about how the FBI duped them into approving harassment of Carter Page

Expect the quicksand to get deeper, fast. As Barr continues to root out the cockroaches in the DC manure pile, people will begin to find ways to line up with the "right side of history." Lots of smelly stuff is going to be exposed as we go. What's happened here, I think, is that the justices on the FISA court may have actually deliberately turned a blind eye to how shaky the evidence was, and are now deciding they don't want to be on the same sinking ship as Comey, Brennan, Clapper et al.

Comey is saying now that there were "seven layers" between him and those who ran the illegal operations at the FBI.

It sounds familiar. Clinton said the same thing when questioned on Benghazi. It was not her responsibility to provide security for the US Embassy.

    Favorite excuse for the swamp.

May I ask why were you there, if you had no idea what was going on under your watch?

I bet Hussein will say the same thing when the quicksand reaches his neck: "I did not know."

Adm Rickover had a great quote on responsibility:

“Responsibility is a unique concept... You may share it with others, but your portion is not diminished. You may delegate it, but it is still with you... If responsibility is rightfully yours, no evasion, or ignorance or passing the blame can shift the burden to someone else."

It is the worst hypocrisy to support more power being centralized, and deny responsibility for wielding it!

        Agree.

Shifting the focus on responsibility has taken on new life under Hussein.

He was the one who exempted his minions from consequences and the one who shifted all the blame to his predecessor after his repeated failures.

It astounded me for a while could Bush show civility toward him after Hussein made him the manifestation of evil until I realized that both were part of the DS.

It is a central tenet of the DS to free individuals from responsibility and delegate that task to the State. Just follow the trends in our society: it is being implemented step by step.

I don't really think any of the appropriate roaches will be stepped on if the deep-state is involved. Oh yeah....and Jeffery Epstein didn't kill himself...

There will always be speculation as to why or how they were duped. People are like that, especially in this case the deep state wanting to deflect and control the narrative.

It would appear that the FISA judges are seeking exoneration to CYA but if in fact they were blackmailed into approving, it would be in their best interest to seek protection and tell all thereby saving some extensive investigation time and costs. Otherwise it appears as an attempt to shift the responsibility to keep their jobs.

    Good.

Comey is sinking deeper and deeper into the quicksand.

"Explaining it away" as he and other FBI weasels are doing these day is not going to cut it.

Comey better lawyer up although he won't be able to spin his way out of this.

I would not be so sure. There are now so many who can accurately stand as "guilty players", we're still talking about politics and MONEY. Odd things tend to happen in the Swamp.
