Michael Gerrard, a professor of environmental, climate change and energy law at Colombia University, said: “Success in litigation breeds imitation, so if McVeigh wins, people will take a close look. People are so desperate at the failure of governments to act adequately on climate change that they’re looking for litigation targets.”
    From the Anti-Columbia University

A man on a business trip goes to church in the town where he is working. There is a guest speaker who makes a detailed and passionate appeal to help the deprived homeless. The visitor expects a money raising campaign starting here. But the speaker goes on, they are going to march in the city for the government to put up taxes to raise money for this.
Charity is not what it use to be!
.. (The above story from http://quadrant.org.au)

This Pension Fund, should tell the millennial, we make the money, give it to you, you can decide to give it away to the cause of your choice.
That is not good enough for the new woke, they want to take your money to give to their chosen cause.

From the article: "Remember the days when you used to just choose your own investments, before the government told you what you had to invest in?"
Isn't this exactly the problem? If he were choosing his own investments, he would avoid investing in companies he didn't like. A similar issue of disagreeing with investments would occur with gambling, producers of alcohol/opiates/tobacco/vaping products, abortion and contraception providers, junk food, armaments industry, alternative medicine providers, and GMO producers. People should want to invest in things they believe in and/or vote their proxy to influence the businesses they own share in. The author, Tyler Durden, laughs at people for wanting a say in what they own.
