Make the Truth Irrelevant, by Robert Gore

But there’s always a purpose in nonsense. Don’t bother to examine a folly—ask yourself only what it accomplishes.

Ellsworth Toohey to Peter Keating, The Fountainhead, Ayn Rand, 1943

What do the follies of Russiagate and the Ukraine impeachment controversy accomplish?

Truth is always the enemy of power. Exposure of power’s motivations, depredations, and corruption never serves power’s ends. Truth is often suppressed and those who disclose it persecuted. Any illegitimate government (currently, all of them) that fails to do so risks its own termination.

What if, instead of suppressing the truth, a regime could render it irrelevant and not have to worry about it? That prospect is the Holy Grail for those who rule or seek to rule.

Hi Robert very well written and explained.
I follow this very closely and since 1992 the US Intelligence agencies have Worked their dark but consistent pillaging plan . Like the Iran Contra operation, that of running weapons and drugs. Now we are awakened to the human trafficking side to the business. Ukraine became George Soro’s corruption center. See Amazing Polly’s fine research on this https://youtu.be/VHud_qBZrhM
The IMF loans and the NGO’s that siphoned those billions in an elaborate money laundering scheme.

To add to your story Mitten Rotteney’s former top foreign advisor to his Campaign was also appointed to Burisma’s (sp) board 2016. He is a real character his name is Joseph Cofer Black.
You might be interested in his history. A couple of tidbits. He was the National Intelligence Director for counter terrorism during 911........then you might recall Blackwater Grp. ( the for hire mercenary force) in Iraq. J. Cofer Black was Co -Chairman.
Nice payoff for f...ing up protecting US from 911.
Maybe he found murder and mayhem for pay better suited his talents.
I also recommend you follow George Webb I will link his you tube site he has many short videos .Choose one to sample. I suspect you will find his research very valuable to your work. https://www.youtube.com/user/georgwebb

Josef Goebbels had a different take:“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” - Josef Goebbels
People will believe a lie either because they want it to be true, or because they're afraid it's true.

That is one hell of an essay, Robert! The ending seems kind of bleak. if the Dems keep up what their doing along with their deception of the American people will lead to a fracturing of this country. Their candidates what to give away the store under govt. control and take away our 2nd Amendment rights will lead to armed skirmishes around this country. I watched a few machinegun shoots and older military cannon shoots on YouTube and thought that if a Dem wins the 2020 election and tries to institute their anti-gun policy we will see a Civil War.
