PG&E Cuts Power to a Half Million in California as Planned due to “Climate Change.”

“We have a grid that was built to manage a set of circumstances that don’t exist anymore,” said Michael Wara, director of the Climate and Energy Policy Program at Stanford University. “We are having to adapt to new circumstances brought about by climate change.”

He estimated PG&E’s blackout for two days could have an economic impact of as much as $2.6 billion, using a planning tool developed by Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

The cities affected warned residents to brace for six days without power. California’s transportation agency said it was preparing to close two major tunnels in the region due to the loss of power.

Just ignore the fact that the majority of the state was a desert 150 years ago and had been so for hundreds of years. CA has been importing water from other states to support farms on what was desert land, and to support the invasion by millions of illegal immigrants.
Never take responsibility for the mistakes you have made, Californian liberals. Just blame the results on a contrived fictional fraudulent "crisis", and force everyone else to pay for the mistakes made by Californian liberals.

Will BART, and water companies, provide evidence that their back-up generation is from windmills?

Governor Newsom says- "The blackout shows that PG&E finally woke up to their responsibility to keep people safe.”
I would have thought PG&E also have responsibility to provide electric power.

I've been waiting to see how "bad" the winds turned out to be. Given how poor they've been at predicting climate/weather, I've been expecting barely a breeze.

I got curious several years ago about the daily temperature predictions. So I scripted an auto download of local predictions vs the end result. A shockingly consistent pattern of 2 degrees above the actual emerged. A range of differences would be expected, but a consistent 2 degrees is suspicious, to say the least.
