Even though this activity is really real, the only category such lunacy deserves is Humor since Insanity is not offered.

Interestingly I had an almost similar experience becoming a Wagner fan.

I did not know much about his music until age 15 when my history teacher in high school came into class one day and said: "We are going to listen to music today".

He put on the Overture of Tannhauser. As the sound generated shivers through my spine as it was progressing to crescendo, he was providing narrative to interpret what we were hearing.

I have become a lifelong supporter and enjoyer of Wagner from there on.

Thinking of it: wouldn't you expect a similar role of teachers to prepare you for life and help you along the way by opening your eyes/mind to things that are positive and constructive? Versus the destructive left leaning indoctrination what today's teachers use in schools and campuses?

Yes, it is an awesome piece. I'm not an actual aficionado of classical music, but I love enough of it to have a bunch of various albums in my collection. I have "Valkyrie" done by Wurttemburg National Opera and "Tannhauser" by London Philharmonic. My opinion - I love the speed & power of "Valkyrie" as well as the power & beauty of "Tannhauser", but I was introduced to "Valkyrie" in my youth long before I heard "Tannhauser" so I will always have a special niche for it in my psyche above others.

Edit add: I couldn't help putting on a Wagner album after I read your post. Interestingly it opens with "Valkyrie" and closes with "Tannhauser". It's a beautiful thing!

Me dino has brown hair and green eyes that look blue should I put on a blue shirt. The brown mustache I shaved off during the late Eighties would be as white as my sideburns depending on their length. My departed mother was half recent immigrant Irish and half a French ancestry that the British kicked out of Canada before the Revolutionary War. Don''t know what got mixed in since but her father looked as French as Charles de Gaulle did.

According to mythology the Valkyries would swoop down on the battlefield and carry away the souls of the fallen to the Valhalla.

They were female virgins and when a battle took place there were usually between six and thirteen Valkyries at one time.

German's are not Vikings nor they are descendants of them. Wagner reached for their legend in his operas Der Ring des Nibelungen but I was always wondering as to the reason?

Ahh yes! My favorite Wagner piece! Must be the small percentage of Scandinavian in me asserting itself! My blonde hair and blue eyes came from somewhere, LOL!

Edit add: Actually I should say my once blonde hair, it's kinda white right now, LOL!

I noticed the plants are all removed from their natural environment. Is it acceptable to enslave plants to pray to them?

You cracked me up here, Dino! LOL!

I guess if I were to put a goddess in my garden it would be either a full sized Athena beauty dressed in armor or a full sized Venus dressed in nothing. The former would be viewed as really cool, but the latter would likely bring a few comments from the neighbors - however, the teenage guys waiting for the school bus on the corner would probably miss the bus! Sorry, just popped into mind...

Not to put words in her mouth, but I remember Ayn Rand's writing something about "destruction for the sake of destruction".

And what about the Venus Fly-Traps which eat flies (animals)? And what's next on the Idolatry list? Why stop with plants? What's next to apologize to?

You know, if it wasn’t for the merciless mobs of programmed “Cancel Culture” activists, comedians would have a lifetime of material.

This is nothing but a transitional step to the UN's Gaia worship. From that come worship of world gov. That is their plan. But really, just is the goofiest thing yet. Who are these illogical Earth beings? I'm voting for a cactus for the next election if my reps. do this.

So now the climate change cabal is appealing to paganism to do their bidding for the money grab. Pathetic.
