    There are, rarely, shootings at gun shows. They've never been publicized nationally like this. My theory is that they'll blast about how "dangerous" gun shows are until they can get them all shut down.

        We were at AZ Sportman a couple weeks ago and I had a thought. Wouldn't it be fun to bring some anti guns lefties in there and say..."Look, there's a wall full of guns right there, and shelves upon shelves of ammo, right here, and high capacity magazines available too...and not a single shot is being fired. This place is PACKED with people...how can that be?" I think they'd be freaked out just to be in close proximity of these inanimate objects (Not to mention all the taxidermied animals all over the place.) Ha!

          You know, it's just no lain fun to shoot! Yesterday after the classroom portion of my pistol class, we went into the range. The .22 was fine, but when I got to fire the .357, WOW! LS, you would be proud of my grouping! I tore up the center of my target! I haven't been shooting in 24 years!

              Yes, but now it will be practice at the range. The classroom type portion is done. It's 5-5 1/2 hours of class time/range time. Some places only have classroom instruction, no range time included, which I think is ridiculous. How can you know how to handle a gun properly without learning hands on?

                agreed. this applies to math as well, but no one ever listens to me on that. learn up and shoot straight. then I'll hire you to come teach me.

                  I keep telling that to my son, regarding math. He's good at it, WHEN HE PRACTICES. It's funny how that works, isn't it?

                    math is not about memorizing. it is a logical structure. you have o understand that logical structure. most who like math, like it in part, because it is not about memorizing. pick the teachers who understand that-and don't force the kids to do lots of drills/copious homeword. it bores those who are actually good at at math. it's all about SOLVING. stretching. do you like to solve puzzles? I remember, sometimes our teachers would give us a problem on a Friday. I don't expect you to solve this. I am not grading this. how far can you get? the math people? they are the ones who dig right in to that. they won't hear a bell ring, in fact.

            Good for you! :) I just got my new tiny gun (for my walks) and we're taking it out, with our AR 15s tomorrow to shoot. Can't wait! It IS fun isn't it :) Did you take a photo of your grouping? (not that you can get pictures to load...haha). High five!!

          This is kind of funny. Last week when my husband was coming back from the Shot Show in Vegas, he said there was only one demonstration, it was very small, on the day the show was packing up, and that the conventioneers that were coming in, no pun intended, were from the porn industry! So the protesters are just clearly a bunch of candy asses clearly to cowardly to face anyone. Except to ogle porn stars..
