Classic Biden-ism. I'm assuming that was one of his many gaffes, but then again what's that they say about frequent liars? Eventually they forget what the truth is.

I think it is hilarious now. The Dems are trying to keep Biden down so he can last until later without embarrassing them. And, what is this 'a choice between Biden and Warren?' Can you really visualize Warren as President?

It is a method for stating that no matter what is reality he can just claim that he knows another reality that conflicts with reality but gives him the right to use violence to achieve the end he desires.

I suppose he wanted his way.He was probably just using rhetoric, and trying to make a demagogic statement that would sound good (or maybe would sound good to the leftists).

I still think my analogy is good. Biden is also not an idiot, but he isn’t their puppet, so he must die.

We have reduced our purchases from China by half and some of our vendors are opening up operations in Vietnam and Cambodia to escape the tariffs for their american customers.

Yes, I agree. Smarter to be better competition in reality with less government impediments. Unfortunately, that is not what government does, and even if that is what Trump wants to do, it will take time and immense effort - as you know. Trump is correct that China's government is cheating to give their businesses a bigger advantage than low wages, and also using our corrupt elites (Clinton, Obama, et al) to steal from the American people. (No idea why my post was duplicated.;^)

    Quayle was actually quite intelligent.

What the media did was to find EVERY instance of a gaffe (misspelling), and put it on the Air 24x7.

When Obama Said he visited 57 states... No such coverage.

FakeNews has been painting the wrong messages for a long time...

    Yes, and it's clear.

It's NOT TRUE that Trump is a Racist.

But it is a FACT, if you are a LEFTIST, that Trump is therefore a RACIST and his supporters are all racists... See, facts are not true... If you are a Leftist...

I do think that importing from china in the long run is a bad idea. The richer we allow them to be, the more they will turn on us militarily and in another way to increase their power. They are major collectivists and power seekers. They are not our friends

If one watches the youtube video blogs on china, its pretty easy to see that its really a dictator/communist country with very collectivist idewhich tolerates a small degree of capitalism so long as it doesnt affect their positions of power.
They arent going to give up collectivism willingly to satisfy Trump, and trying to strongarm them with tariffs just isnt going to work. They have already graduated from a mostly export economy to one that is heavily satisfying domestic demand.

Trump would be better off encouraging people in the USA to up their game to better compete with these low wage countries by giving tax breaks for reducing imports, NOT increasing minimum wages, putting back the domestic manufacturing credit, and encouraging much more automation here

I think he hoped to use the tariffs to get concessions as he reportedly has elsewhere. That may still work, but China is not a vassal to anyone at present.

good question. probably I would still vote for him as opposed to any democrat. But, I think he will lose if the tariffs are still in place because there would be enough swing votes that would vote democratic if they saw prices go up on household items due to the tariffs. I think Trump is starting to realize this as he delayed the september 1 tariff imposition until december. He knows that if people see prices rise, his lie about china paying the tariffs just wont hold water. We pay the tariffs, as any breathing moron knows.

He means, "his truth" . Sort of like any other communist train of thought, I'm for "peace". But it is under their terms/definition. Same same.

He was not even Vice Presidential material.
Still, if Hussein had dropped dead, a President Puddinghead Joe may not have been as damaging, though I'm certain he would not be elected for a second term.

Definitely NOT presidental material, which is why he never got more than 1% vote when he ran before.
