In less than five minutes, Dinesh D'Souza dismantles Marxism. This is probably one of the best explanations of capitalism vs Marxism I've come across.

I saw this yesterday but decided to watch it again (thanks, blarman).

Enjoyed it just as much the second time. D'Souza really puts a smile on my face.

In the schools, it seems like they just tell the students that all these resources and complex infrastructure labor requires in order to even have a job just sprang up from magic seeds.

As I was listening to the guy, Hussein came to mind with his "You did not build that", now famous utterance where he thrashed entrepreneurs building their own business. He conveniently denied it later claiming he did not say that, in a communist way of contradicting the obvious.

The left is still using Marx's argument because few understands how business works and even fewer are making the effort to understand it. It is much more convenient to resist and revolt.

Obama punished D’Souza and jailed him for a trumped up campaign violation. Trump pardoned him. He has a lot of utube videos out there of soeeched he has given at universities now

“The art of economics consists in looking not merely at the immediate but at the longer effects of any act or policy; it consists in tracing the consequences of that policy not merely for one group but for all groups.”
    ― Henry Hazlitt

In short -- understanding economics requires the ability to conceptualize; it requires the exercised ability to think ... and just as importantly, choosing to think. For a plurality of the populace, thinking requires too much effort; or, when conducted, would yield uncomfortable conclusions.

“The whole gospel of Karl Marx can be summed up in a single sentence: Hate the man who is better off than you are. Never under any circumstances admit that his success may be due to his own efforts, to the productive contribution he has made to the whole community. Always attribute his success to the exploitation, the cheating, the more or less open robbery of others. Never under any circumstances admit that your own failure may be owing to your own weakness, or that the failure of anyone else may be due to his own defects - his laziness, incompetence, improvidence, or stupidity.”
    ― Henry Hazlitt

I got Hazlitt's book on economic fallacies explained simply. It was brilliant.

One up to blarman for a favorable mention of Hazlitt.
Hazlitt developed the work of Mill and Bastiat especially and maybe Rand and others. His genius was in writing, the propositions, logic and explanations (I reckon) are watertight and the language is plain, easy to read and understand.

His book was so good I actually purchased it, because it did such a great job of in 3-5 pages each exposing and debunking a vast array of economic fallacies using clear, plain language. I encourage people to go check this book out from your local library. You'll end up buying it and reading it with your high school children.

This born in India LEGAL immigrant is a great American.
The United States needs to import more like him before all the indoctrinated snowflakes born here manage to place "The People's Republic Of--" before our nation's name.
