    I found the gulch after buying the first 2 movies and a bumper sticker.
    Read AS and Fountainhead for the first time last year after hearing about AS. I was born same year AS was written but had not heard of it until just the past few years. Now 57 years later and written in 57 we both share the same beginning!!

    Thanks for the civics lesson, Ben. I knew that. Not sure how CQ is getting that the R's will take over - not only could that not occur for 6 yrs, as you show, but there are some incredibly secure D seats.

    Each term in the senate is 6 years. There are 3 senate classes and 1/3 of the senate is up for election every 2 years. In other words, in 3 cycles of 2 years every seat has been up for election,

    Again, our Dem senator isn't up in '16, but not until '18. Not sure how many more are like that.

    I don't believe that all dem senate seats are up for play this fall (I know that one in my state surely isn't), so not sure how that could occur.

    Surely you mean win a majority in the senate. I doubt sincerely that they will win a 60 vote majority, and certainly not the "entire senate."

    Yeah I left here in fear. But since the Republicans will surly win the entire Senate in November, and I have been blogging on newsmax for several months; plus the part III movie is coming out; I figured, what the heck. :)

    I watched the first two movies on Netflix, and I was given the book at work.

    Well, I am an old member that has come back; but originally, I found it by searching Atlas Shrugged movie. And that was back before the second movie was even made.
