I'll believe it after the actual voters toss her out in the Primaries, but this is encouraging. Now if only Minnesota would have half the sense of these New Yorkers...

AOC is the DNCs chickens coming home to roost. They've sung the leftist/socialist/communist tune and social engineered long enough that they've gotten what they said they wanted, a vacuous mouthpiece parroting whatever she's told by her coaches- only it's not the DNC.
I don't buy into the poll. A decision wasn't made to appoint her or them, they were voted into office. And yes, too many Americans, perhaps more than ever are that stupid.

Not to change the subject but this needs to be known ...From The Washington Examiner: Kamala Harris’ first significant political role was an appointment by her powerful then-boyfriend Willie Brown, three decades her senior, to a California medical board that has been criticized as a landing spot for patronage jobs and kickbacks.

Then 30, Harris was dating 60-year-old Willie Brown, at the time the Democratic speaker of the California State Assembly, when he placed her on the California Medical Assistance Commission in 1994. The position paid over $70,000 per year, $120,700 in current money, and Harris served on the board until 1998.

The medical commission met twice a month, and Harris, a United States senator for California since 2017 and now a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, missed about 20% of the meetings each year, according to commission records obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The seven-member board was largely comprised of late-career former state officials who were semi-retired or biding time before retirement. At 30 years old, Harris was the youngest appointee by some three decades.

Harris, now 54, and Brown, now 85, started dating in the spring of 1994, showing up arm-in-arm at numerous high-profile functions, including Brown’s lavish parties and celebrity galas. He has been separated but not divorced from his wife Blanche Vitero since the 1980s and has maintained a string of girlfriends over the years.

That June of 1994, Harris took a leave of absence from her job as a deputy prosecutor at the district attorney’s office in Alameda County, where she had worked for four years after graduating from law school. Brown appointed Harris to the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, a position that paid $97,000 annually, which would be $167,000 in 2019. Five months later, Harris resigned from the insurance board, and Brown immediately appointed her to the California Medical Assistance Commission.

Brown, in a letter to Harris, wrote that he was “pleased to appoint” her to the board, which oversaw the payment of insurance providers for state-subsidized MediCal recipients. “I am confident that your knowledge and experience will contribute significantly to the important work of the Commission,” he wrote.

Harris had no medical background, according to a copy of her resume that she submitted to Brown at the time. Her experience consisted of four years as a deputy prosecutor, a handful of summer jobs and internships, and a volunteer position at a hospital fundraising group.

According to state records of the time, members of the committee had to be “selected from persons with experience in management of hospital services, risk management insurance or prepaid health programs, the delivery of health services, the management of county health systems, and a representative of recipients of service.”

Brown’s decision to appoint Harris raised eyebrows in political circles. “Both boards are reserved for political payback or occasionally for personal rewards for personal service,” said Brett Granlund, a former California Republican state assemblyman who worked closely with the commission while Harris was on the board. “The boards are considered plumb appointments as they require no work, no policy credentials, and are paid the equivalent of a full-time [state] senator for arriving at a one- to two-hour meeting each month.”

Granlund said the appointment seemed brazen at the time because of the relationship between Harris and Brown. “Screwing the speaker has its rewards,” he said. “Stevie Wonder could have seen through that play.”

Ilhan hasn't destroyed a deal with Amazon in MN, yet. Give her time and perhaps her constituents will realize that she doesn't represent them.
Non-Demo being elected in their places would be proper action.

I agree, but I don't hold out much hope for Omar being replaced. She represents a district which has been completely taken over by immigrants - mostly from Islamic backgrounds. To me, her story is why integration and adoption of American values as part of a comprehensive immigration reform package is so necessary. If you don't want to accept the US Constitution and our way of life - stay where you are.

This "crew" appears to be out of control. I am not sure if Pelosi and/or whatever house leadership are guiding this "revolt" or if they are not in control. If th is is a rogue crew, what means of control does Pelosi and other house leaders have available to them. Can this crew be removed from the various committees they are on? I hope there is some way they can be rendered impotent except for running their mouths on tv. Or....maybe this is part of a dummycrat plan.

The Young Turks are trying to challenge the traditional DNC for control of the party. And the DNC is playing right into their hands by running candidates for President who are completely on board with a socialist, open borders agenda.

My only hope is that the voting American public sees this and rejects it where it matters: the ballot box.

I doubt Omar's constituency will care for that.

What matters to them she is in Congress.

Nothing is high enough price to have that edge.

They are spreading out. I live 10 miles from ground zero in her district. Eagan the most vibrant city in Minnesota. Waiting in line at the local wal mart tonight about 15 folks half were Somalis in burkas.
They are hateful people in my opinion.

When waiting in line, can you tell whether or not the individual in front of you is using an EBT card? When I see this happen, here in Washington State, I lean in a bit and say "You're welcome" -- this often results in a look of both surprise and guilt all at once. I might then offer "I am paying for your groceries, so, you're welcome."

I learned this bit from Neil Boortz when he shared this on his radio show many years ago. I don't get any flack since my unblinking eye contact tells the EBT parasite that trifling with a producer would not be in their best interest.

I'd be careful if I were you. Getting into a Muslim's face, who happens to be a black Somali, can only lead to violence. It is called "solving 21st century problems with a 7th century mentality.

I am ready for it (violence). Something about my being a mountain climber and ultra-runner and having sustained a lot of damage over these years presents itself in my eyes. I just wait to see who blinks first. And it's always the other guy. As a good libertarian, I refraining from the initiation of the use of force -- but as you might guess, I am a little bit itching for the other guy to start something. It will be a mess. I will still be standing.

In that case, my friend, I suggest you get a CC license, train, and carry...…..Just in case. Many members of the "Religion of Peace" are eternally offended and anything but peaceful.

Good point -- although I have the CC, I could certainly use more training and need to make it a habit of carrying. There is a range not far from me and a few of my friends that carry have good suggestions in terms of how to effectively employ CC. I've also seen some adverts for insurance for those that CC and have to defend themselves.

I had no idea how many Somalis live in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area until I had a business trip there a couple of years ago. I suspect ethnic/religious attraction will make her difficult to beat. If someone can prove that she did pull some shenanigans with her campaign and/or the sham marriage claim, then perhaps there are legal remedies that could be applied...

That certainly is being pressed, as her immigration status would then be voided as would her candidacy for the House. Would be interesting to see if it also voided all her votes as it would then revive the birther cause regarding Barack Obama...

America is gone. Yep. This is nothing but a preview of coming attractions. Americans are voting for their own demise. I had faith in Americans until now. It seems we made mistakes and corrected them. So far, there is massive resistance to correcting this.

We have a completely different problem in Minnesota. Here it is in summary: Cause and effect….cause and effect.
The dumb ass Minnesota voters voted for Bill Clinton in 1992….Clinton won.
Bill “ Better Put Some Ice On It” Clinton executed a military excursion in Africa and got his ass kicked in Somalia in 1993. Actually, it wasn’t his ass that went down in 2 Blackhawk helicopters, but several of our Rangers and Delta Force guys. Bubba was safe in D.C. with Algorythmn…and Lying Hillary.
Clinton coerced Minnesota (via Lutheran and Catholic organizations) into taking in 35 to 40 thousand Somali “refugees”……Somali MUSLIM refugees……starting in 1993. That number is probably closer to 70,000 today as Muslims breed large families.
The Minnesota Muslim vote gave us the tax cheat woman abuser, Keith Ellison (Muslim) as AG and the vile Anti-Semite, Ilhan Omar (born in Mogadishu) as a House Representative….and all of the other Muslims in state and local seats.

We will have a big one in Minnesota…..not “if”….but “when”.

Hang on because it is about to get a lot worse in Minnesota……

I was recently back visiting family in MN and WI a couple months ago. My parents and I were visiting Como Park near St. Paul, MN. I had not been to the park is about 15 years. The number of burkas and their ragga-muffin offspring as a percentage of the general population of visitors was astonishing (to me). I mentioned this to my parents and they just quietly nodded (they are in their mid-70's and have seen the gradual changes in demographics during the entire span of their years).

Breeding indeed -- you hit the nail on the head there. And what is to keep the rabbits from reproducing when an endless expanse of clover is provided? Mistakes of this magnitude are never made innocently. Creating a Little Moga-sh**-hole in the Twin Cities is by design -- it is created and cultivated for a reason. There will be a flash point or multiple points. Ideally, something good comes from all of this, but my only vision is that it will be a ruinous costly mess.

I agree ... this is the same thought that I have regarding AOC -- I see that vapid sock-puppet, completely devoid of self-awareness and think "this is some sort of trial balloon"

Or maybe ... and this is way out there ... maybe you have a couple guys in the backroom, so-to-speak ... and they have a wager, like the two old white guys in the 1980's movie "Trading Places" -- they have a gamble on whether or not the gullible public will buy the absolute nonsense spouted by AOC (or some other equally discardable puppet). So, being a couple old guys with far too much money and too little time, they front these dizzy-dopey-dunce candidates for their own personal amusement.

The organization that propelled AOC into becoming a Congressperson; the Justice Democrats should be investigated by the DOJ. AOC must be still being manipulated by this group. She sometimes sounds intelligent and other times sounding completely stupid. I believe when she goes off on her own is where she gets into hot water. The Justice Democrats are her puppetmaster.

Like several others including Omar and Tlaib, AOC was sponsored by the Young Turks and yes, she is a puppet on a string. And yes, she is a disaster when not dealing with anything scripted. You can see examples where she goes ad-lib and she doesn't think clearly on her feet at all. One particular example was her questioning of the ICE chief where she accused him of things and he ate her alive with real facts. She had nothing she could do but move on to the next scripted, biased attack.

I have doubts either AOC or the rest of the squad will be replaced. Many voters are either apathetic or ill-informed, the rest vote identity politics. I watched 2 very interesting documentaries that can be found on Amazon Fire TV, 1. Enemies Within 2. Can't We Talk About This. I suggest you watch them to find out just how many of our elected officials are actually our enemies. Both were illuminating and disheartening. The lights are going out.

Even if the squad cost the Democrats the chance at this election, I truly believe that there are enough looters out there who will choose to believe her promises. I am sad to say that these two will probably be around well into the future.

I know this is a duplicate post/comment but I really felt it needed to be mentioned.
Unless swing voters make up the majority of the voters in their districts they have nothing to worry about. The two women mentioned most prominently are in districts so democratic that, to quote Speaker Palosi, "A glass of water would get elected if a democrat". Their districts have very few swing voters. Most are die hard Democrats.
What percentage of Registered Voters is against them. That is a better number to look at.
Who ever leaked the data did so with the intent of causing a false few of the people's sentiments.

Hope they have the sense to vet out the next candidate properly...maybe we will have to help them.
I fear there will be crossovers from the left pretending to be right.

I agree with your note that facts should speak for this unpopular streak at the ballots.

Often we hear about low poll numbers then come election day, the candidate still wins.
