This battiness is all due to climate panic.

“There are no words adequate to describe the degree of craziness. Suffice it to say it measures the equivalent of 10 on the Richter scale for political lunacy, even for Berkeley, the most radical city in the most radical of these 50 states. Berkeley, California has always stood out as the vanguard of wackiness but now it has descended down to the ninth level and made a suicidal energy pact with itself. It has banned natural gas in new buildings and hired a $271,000 apparatchik to make sure the trigger is pulled, much like the guards Jim Jones ordered to make sure the folks at Jonestown drank the poison.”

I thought natural gas was cleaner than other non-renewable energy sources. It's hard to imagine it's worse to burn it in a home or building than it is to burn it in a plant to turn turbines to generate electricity, then to transmit that power, and then to turn it back into heat. I thought it was better to burn it directly.

This is Technocracy folks , pure and simple.
The science czars using climate change as a pretense to decide what you can use for energy. What till you are assigned a quota of energy units with rfid chips adding it all up. They will loot you till the $ runs out.

My home has no gas lines in it. My Generac is natural gas powered outside the house. If the power fails, I have electricity. What do these idiots do? Sit in a dark house?
