Think of Yosemite California with it’s lush deep valley overseen by towering snow covered mountains creating some spectacular waterfalls. Now make it all equal, and be inclusive. Yes, you would smash down mountains to fill in the valley. In the end you would have a boring desert.

As far as the paying for the past, those who identify as socialist should owe society a priceless amount. Promoting socialism could be considered the new hate speech, since hate speech is just some made up term anyway.

It is the heart of the looter's mind: that the world is a zero-sum game. The heart of a capitalist rejects the notion of the zero-sum game where if I win, you lose (and vice-versa) and instead postulates the notion where everything can be a win-win scenario. The entire victimhood mentality could be eliminated if people would simply recognize that those who offer services and products can and usually do so because they want to better BOTH you and them.
