WIJG on Pirates scoreboard UPDATE

I paid to run a message on the Pittsburgh Pirates scoreboard for August 26th. The message read "Who is John Galt? in theaters Sept. 12th". I received a call Monday saying my message was rejected. I was told it was an ad and they want messages only. I asked if I could change it to "Who is John Galt" and it was approved. Not quite what I wanted but I still think it will help.

    OK. I didn't remember that being a significant date in the book, but wasn't sure. Looks like you got a good match-up for your investment.

    Hi Robbie. I was able to pick the game and the Pirates play the Cardinals that night. I figured it would be a sellout. I also wanted it to be closer to the release date.

    Thanks Eud. I don't think the woman I talked read AS. When I asked if I could put WIJG she was a little surprised. I told her anyone who read the book would understand. She said it sounded fine but she would have to check.It took a day to get approval.

    dang! are you attending that game? you could hand out a bunch of post its in the parking lot. then they'd get it when they saw the message.
