- 52Can't recall the name of the if not one of the latest King flicks that I caught on a movie channel on TV about half a year ago.
I felt repulsed when I saw a group of vampiric kinda adults with extended hands suck the life essence out of a screaming, writhing little boy while a weird lady in a halfway stovepiped hat told them all they needed to make it really hurt.
I was cussing like hell as I turned off the TV! - 53Posted by freedomforall 5 days, 19 hours ago to Meme of the DayTo me, it's sad (and a commentary on the 'entertainment industry') that
King's perverted garbage has received so much praise and promotion.
imo, it's the movie equivalent of a D.C. cesspool. - 54Me dino never heard of Ayn Rand (maybe once hearing her name on TV but not caring who she was) until my most conservative of 4 brothers Christmas gifted my with all 3 DVD's of Atlas Shrugged.
Very shortly thereafter, I was reading the book from cover to cover and also internet researching Ayn Rand when I stumbled upon The Gulch, landing here 11 years and 8 months ago. - 55At the end of a movie called Firestarter (with 3 remakes already!) child actress Drew Barrymore, having burned down the domain of evildoers out to take kidnapping advantage of her powers, is taken to The New York Times so that full exposure of who and what she is would lead to her being let alone.
All four flicks are based on a novel written by Stephen King. (Remake endings not the same).
Within the last week, me dino read an article that revealed King to be a full blown Trump-hating libtard.
Wonder if giving the Firestarter a boy's name may also indicate something. LOL! - 56Posted by freedomforall 5 days, 21 hours ago to IN THE MEME TYME 9/8/25 EDITION: Big Pharma/RFK Jr.Yes, now if the artist could do so in a clear way so its obvious whose chain he is yanking. ;^)
"the same shit they showed him"
They are experts at shoveling the horse muck to hide their responsibility for millions of deaths.
I hope that RFK Jr can expose their lies completely and hold them financially responsible
for the fraud that caused so many to suffer needlessly. - 57Posted by mccannon01 5 days, 22 hours ago to Meme of the DayObi-Wan got that one nailed, LOL!
- 58Posted by tutor-turtle 5 days, 23 hours ago to IN THE MEME TYME SUNDAY PAPER EDITIONIn the 1950's, we had three recommended vaccines. Not mandated.
And not one Mandated, Untested, Unapproved, Experimental M-RNA Gene Therapy incorrectly labeled as a vaccine.
Giving drug manufactures blanket immunity, was not terribly unlike giving the see eye aye blanket immunity: If Killing has no consequences, you will have limitless unnecessary deaths. And a compliment lapdog media to provide cover fire for you. - 59Posted by tutor-turtle 5 days, 23 hours ago to IN THE MEME TYME SUNDAY PAPER EDITIONMy blanket attitude about liberal cities is simple:
Stay Away, far away. - 60RFK or rather, the artist, is yanking their chain.
Trump, more recently, told pharma to show the people the same shit they showed him. He wants to know, if the jabs/ warp speed, failed, and why.
Seems to be a lot of "Direction" and "Miss-direction" lately.
Finding it hard to keep up . . . - 61Posted by VetteGuy 6 days, 14 hours ago to Why Atlas Shrugged Is Essential ReadingThanks LP, excellent essay.
I noticed your use of "rational self-interest", a phrase I prefer over Rand's insistence on "selfishness". It's very difficult to get over the negative stigma that "selfishness" raises in many people. They are turned off before they even find out what she means by it.
Atlas Shrugged is daunting to many people because of its length and the amount of thought it evokes. I saw a headline earlier today to the effect that the average attention span is about 8 seconds. That doesn't encourage me to believe the next generation will read AS. Maybe they will watch the movie ... probably while scrolling their phones! - 62Posted by 73SHARK 6 days, 17 hours ago to IN THE MEME TYME 9/8/25 EDITION: Big Pharma/RFK Jr.Good work.
- 63Posted by j_IR1776wg 6 days, 19 hours ago to Why Atlas Shrugged Is Essential ReadingBarack Obama refutes Hank Rearden. "you didn't build that..."
https://libertypen.substack.com/p/why...
Obama summed up "We rise or fall together as one nation and as one people, and that’s the reason I’m running for President — because I still believe in that idea. You’re not on your own, we’re in this together."
All for one and one for all. A Socialists' fantasy, An Individualists' nightmare. - 64Whoa! "The (Schiff) is about the fan" "An Inconvenient Study" about kids who took the Covid shots and those who did not.
- 65Posted by freedomforall 6 days, 22 hours ago to IN THE MEME TYME 9/8/25 EDITION: Big Pharma/RFK Jr.Then there is Trump's recent (last Friday) comment on vaccines:
Trump was asked Friday during an Oval Office meeting about Kennedy's vaccine mandate changes, which include limiting which children are eligible for vaccines.
"I think you have to be very careful when you say that some people don't have to be vaccinated," Trump said of Kennedy's vaccine mandates for children.
"They're just, pure and simple — they work," he added. "They're not controversial at all. And I think those vaccines should be used."
https://www.axios.com/2025/09/05/trum...
My guess is that Trump knows he was wrong on the 2020 "vaccine" and has never admitted it. (When does he ever admit any error?)
Trump doesn't want to be wrong again so he speaks like Bill Clinton.
I completely miss the point of the one with the hearse in front of the capitol. It makes as much sense as Trump on vaccines.
The first two are great, OUC. Thank you. 👍 - 66Posted by JakeOrilley 6 days, 23 hours ago to IN THE MEME TYME 9/8/25 EDITION: Big Pharma/RFK Jr.Not a problem at all - hop;e all is well!
- 67Tis more than obvious that a gargantuous gang of greedy, sneaky all about the money gators Deep State lurk in The Swamp.
So what there's an outbreak of little kids with autism when soul less reptiles are rolling in big money?
And how dare a goody two-shoes like RFK Jr get in the way? Disease is our god. For that he deserves to be slandered and libeled for messing with our obscene bloated profits.
To think he was spawned by Democrats! Yeah, like Tulsi! What do they have against cheating to steal power and making dirty untold riches? - 68Posted by mccannon01 1 week ago to Going Galt, my watered down version - post 5I wish you good luck (truly). Were I younger I may have been more willing to explore your offer.
- 69Posted by mccannon01 1 week ago to IN THE MEME TYME 9/8/25 EDITION: Big Pharma/RFK Jr.Thanks for posting, OUC! This "controversy" has to be worked out and transparency to the public is the only way. Number 2 could use 2 more: Big pharma pays to have mRNA called a vaccine; Big pharma charges YOU to pay for all the above.
I'm still glad I never got the jab (I won't call it a vaccine). - 70Sorry for the late set, lot's of stuff goin on at home.
- 71Posted by DennisJeeves 1 week ago to Going Galt, my watered down version - post 5>>it would seem Objectivists (Ayn Rand supporters) are exactly who you are looking for
Objectivists are one of the groups that I target. (Libertarians, Preppers are others that I can think off). So I familiarity with AR ( and no opposition to her views) is just a starting point, but not sufficient.
>> why would you come here to elicit support in your endeavors from people you dislike and open a dialog with an insult?
Because there are always exceptions. 4 people have contacted me in the time that I have been around on this forum. ( 1.5 of them has hung on for over 2 years, the other never took off). - 72Posted by mccannon01 1 week ago to Going Galt, my watered down version - post 5"List them..." No need on my part as I clearly stated "It has been my life experience..." I am relating to you my personal experiences. After reading some of your narrative given in the link above it appears your suppositions are a product of your life experiences since you don't offer much in the line of citation other than what you wrote. For example you give a bullet list of what you think are characteristics of persons of average or less than average intelligence have without citation of the source of your claims. Just like you offer no citation of your claim about admirers of Ayn Rand being incapable of cooperating with themselves or others. In other parts of your narrative it would seem Objectivists (Ayn Rand supporters) are exactly who you are looking for, since they are usually quite intelligent, skillful in many ways, and have their thoughts grounded in reality.
Of course it's personal when I am a member of the set of people you choose to stereotype in a negative way. If you've already made up your mind concerning Ayn Rand supporters, why would you come here to elicit support in your endeavors from people you dislike and open a dialog with an insult? Now I'm scratching my head. - 73Posted by freedomforall 1 week ago to Inconvenient StudyThank you! 👍
