Uh, I had to look that one up:
    pareidolia:
    n.noun

The perception of a recognizable image or meaningful pattern where none exists or is intended, as the perception of a face in the surface features of the moon.

Yep, seems to fit. Although I thought it was actually quite the catch, someone has an incredible amount of free time to study Google Moon and find this. Kinda like geocaching without the trip.....

The trouble with Aliens is that they may well be alien. Perhaps we cannot comprehend their motives. On the other hand, given the size of the universe, or that of the Milky Way, even if there are thousands of star-traveling species out there, the odds against them bumping into us is still pretty high.

Hey, if it's got Giorgio Tsoukalos talking about it, it's gotta be real. (I want hair like that.)

Besides, everybody who's read Jerome Beatty Jr. knows that Moonsters are way way fatter than that guy, and that hanging out on the surface is seriously uncool.

It is my opinion we are not alone in such an enormous universe. Nevertheless, as for the moon photo we have just viewed with our own two eyes?--
I used to take and develop photos for a small town newspapers back during the 70s. When I had the spare time, I learned I could play some special effects tricks in that old dark room. It was nothing new--

Could that be the alien that many millions of years ago poured his flask unto a lava river, creating all life on earth?
    Can you prove it isn't?

Dang it! If there are all those aliens out there, why don't they come visit? Someplace public where the pictures won't be grainy and hard to make out. I mean, we have to have some places on earth that are a lot more interesting than the moon. Though I suppose it depends on what you're looking for.

It seems to me that an alien with any idea of what's going on might want to visit a library or a university or someplace interesting. They must not be able to navigate very well as they keep ending up deep in some swamp somewhere where they are seen only by someone who is hunting alligators.
