    This is not science, this is philosophy. Junk philosophy at that.

      Not necessarily, they were trying to illustrate the complete lack of a structured explanation for the Big Bang, and to put the Black Hole theory in perspective. The Big Bang has this issue of "What comes before it?" The point about the dragons was an attempt at a funny to illustrate the fallacy of this Big Bang and "Poof" a structured universe results. There is a lot of problems with explaining just why things are the way they are, this other theory does explain how we got the structure we have. Not that either one is correct, just that one allows some testing in reality, while the Big Bang thing is not testable, it is an attempt to explain history.

    No matter where you go with origins, whatever the cause, it has to be an uncaused cause. The question is over who or what is the cause.

    Well, it is rather simple for you to decide...I have said it more times here than I can count...you are either a bag of chemicals that happen to have worked together over time in a way that is communicating here and now, or an intelligence started it with a purpose that makes sense, and now you are here communicating here and now.

    Take your pick.

    If you go the chemical route, then you have to explain all the immaterial aspects of existence, especially the working of the human mind in contrast to animals; if you go the Creator route, then you have to deal with Him.

    The intellectually unsatisfying part of the Big Bang theory is what caused the Big Bang. This theory about emergence from a black hole in a larger four-dimensional universe doesn't explain everything that I would like to know, but if it is proven correct, then it is a significant step in the right direction. The theory is testable. I look forward to more information on this in the future. Nice find, nickursis.
