The EPA is attempting to pre-emptively rule that a mine may not open in Alaska, even though no environmental impact statement has been developed. Apparently, the local Indian Tribes employed their own Wesley Mouch to attempt to get the project shut down, but are being sued by the State of Alaska as well as the mining company.
