Hi Calvin. The last President to balance the budget was Calvin Coolidge. Just thought I would mention that. Welcome to the Gulch.

  Technically Clinton balanced the budget in his last couple of years when helped by Newt Gingrich. Nevertheless, Calvin Coolidge ranks #1 on my list of presidents.

    A stretched technicality. A lot of smoke and mirrors but to his credit Clinton worked with Congress. The current President prefers the go it alone approach.

        Im no wiz kid. But didn't Clinton play a numbers game with the debt that eventually made things worse. The "networks" did not touch on this at all, but FBN did a lot.

Welcome to the Gulch, Calvin. If spelling is an issue, it may be worth using MS Word or Notepad to get your posts just right before posting.

Welcome Calvin. Unfortunately, there are some here who take glee in pointing out the deficiencies in others. Pay them no heed (or if you're like me, just tell them to go "piss off.") Most of us will judge by the content of the communication not by the spelling.
