"Coolest" new product on kickstarter?

I'm not really a supporter for this product (too many features that don't appear modular for easy repair ) but those features may be "cool" for lots of people. (They have raised nearly 40 times the goal.)
Personally I'd rather have a cooler that stays cool longer and skip all the gadgets.

Interesting but to much stuff unless you're just a tailgater. My brother has coolers on the fire trucks. It would be really nice if this cooler would just keep the water bottles really cold for a long time. It's hot on the fires and you have to drink a lot. This would not stand up to the rigors required for wildland fire fighting.

I am with you. Who charges their phone around potential wetness? Since my stainless Coleman has a lock down seal function I see the weakest link potentially in the lids of this product. I like the ability to be able to separate but I want a choice, and I don 't see how that would be possible. We end up using a different cooler for foodstuffs. Oh and we always keep a rotated frozen gallon jug for the food cooler

While in Australia, I had a mobile office (for visiting mine sites) with a 120ahr aux battery and a 40ltr Waeco fridge freezer. It is much heavier than a cooler, but would keep ice frozen, and sapphire and tonic cold for 4 days in 90+ degrees ambient temps. (With solar panel it would run for weeks.) I can't use one in my current small vehicle here, but that would be my solution if I had an RV or SUV. No messy bags of ice except for use in cocktails ;^) (It is about $1000 total expense, but I recovered 90% of my cost when I sold it.)
