Politics makes for strange bedfellows indeed. He would be, as would the Hildabeast, a monumental mistake in 2016.

From the article: " Tenet Health Care, that aggressively supported and promoted Obamacare because it would be profitable for the company."

Wait a minute! I thought Obamacare was horrible for business.

As the VP of a small (30 emp) medical software company, Obamacare has me trembling in my little booties. One of my competitors, however, may be salivating and licking their lips. We can compete with this other company on 'quality of product' - no problem. But if the government should choose to select 'one official LIS' then it is not going to be us they choose...it will probably be them.

So one of the options open to a company is to try to get on the inside of a government project so that they can eliminate their competition legislatively.

Let's see, getting a private investor to prop-up Lehman instead of a government bailout - nothing wrong with that. Being on the board of a medical company that would benefit from O'care doesn't seem to be remarkable either. And the final item was being on the board of InnoVida, where once he was informed of wrongdoing he reportedly began to investigate and take appropriate actions to protect shareholders. Doesn't seem like there's anything amiss here.

That said, I'm not a big Bush family supporter. They are right wing progressives, but progressives nonetheless.

It doesn't matter. Many more neocons and beltway, checkpants conservatives will vote for him over Rand Paul, anyway. I predicted long ago that Hillary will be the next President. I'm adding to that today...predicting that Jeb will be the GOP candidate. He's perfect. For his running-mate he might even pick that guy from Texas who could only remember two things and forced everybody to take Gardasil shots - Rick Perry. Yeah, that will probably be the ticket.

Me? I want to see Rob Ford and Chris Christie on the same ticket...

    Sorry for the rant....

What's wrong with Gardasil? It prevents some forms of cancer. Isn't that a good thing?

It's done more harm than good. It has harmed more people than it has helped. That's what's wrong with it. Blowing your head off with a shotgun prevents some forms of cancer too. Maybe we should make that manditory. Some would line up for it because they are sure the government loves them.

Can you cite any articles or proof that it's been harming people?

Perhaps you might understand my skepticism. I've seen folks with agendas make claims before.

IOW, if folks can demand to see proof of global warming then I think it's appropriate to ask for proof in medical issues.

I used to work for a company too that I didn't always agree with their politics, but that didn't make me leave. Maybe Bush's company can make Obamacare work, or make it better. Isn't that what the left has been hollering about?

He's attractive, a moderate, and can speak fluent Spanish. The Republican mainliners will love him, and he'd be better than Obama (but, that goes for almost anyone short of Hitler). He'd also move the Republicans closer to the Democrats and eventually, what we would have is a single party system with two different names (almost there now).

don't you wonder why the R's aren't doing anything to stop what the D's are doing to the country. I am constantly amazed to hear D's say the R's don't give to the poor, BS they probably give more, just look at the bush record or the Reagan record of hand outs. to much to think about but what if nobody showed up at the voting booths!
