Long live the 3D printing café?

It’s 5pm in Buenos Aires and Ezequiel Mendoza, an industrial designer, is fabricating a prototype for a wearable GPS tracking device. For cows.

But that’s not the weird part. The weird part is that he’s doing it in a café.

I love the idea. Here is someone who has found a way to add value to an old idea.

every invention is a combination of known elements. Some, like 3D printing, are disruptive. That means, the technology can be applied across most if not all industries and is a game changer for how their business works. It's a brilliant space to be working in right now. For instance: you're Gillette and now you're going to offer the feature to your customers of downloading an app that will allow customers to print off razors. You'll sell customized materials perhaps, and with the download now Gillette commercials encouraging you to try new designs with beter features will pop up all the time...that sort of thing. 3D printing has China a little worried I'd wager
