    They want to blame public outcry on a knee jerk reaction riding the tide of Snowdon's revelations. That is BS, it is just that before Snowdon a lot more of us trusted the Government enough to believe they wouldn't do this sort of thing. If we are going to rely on technology to keep us all legit then I suppose we can assume that a large number of Law Enforcement officials will be made obsolete by such technology and downsized right? Yeah right.

    Maryland (?) or Virginia (?) and Vermont are running pilot programs with the trackers. Oklahoma just bought several of the readers as well.

    In Maryland/Virginia, the State Attorney General issued an opinion determining the use of the systems were un-constitutional, but the police went ahead regardless claiming that AG opinions weren't binding.
