This website is full of lies and misleading regurgitated phrases. Apparently the gov is getting the shivers if they're even putting this kind of a website up to try and debunk the truth. We are living in icky icky times.

How can that be? They're job is to shamelessly politicize news, even things as mundane as a set of educational standards and package it up for people who want the facts only when they happen to align to their ideology.

Maybe it was April Fools ad.

again, "mundane as a set of educational standards." So mundane, the standards were pushed through without notice to parents, states received massive kickback federally to accept the standards over a span of a few months. There has been lots of evidence posted on this site which shows this was anything but mundane. Yet you provide no evidence to the contrary

        Thank you for your comment.

Maybe I'll change my tune if we try to use the public schools, but to me it seems like any education standard is mundane. The criticisms I've seen seem political.

Also, I have low expectations for anything provided as a gov't handout, so I probably won't get mad.

BTW, this morning I was deposed by the attorney for my kids' previous school. The school and my wife and I are suing each other.

We currently pay $2k/mo, so if I switch to something free, my standards will be very low.

I've seen the ad on Fox multiple times. I'd guess it is a business decision. Advertisers pay the bills, and although the commercial is very misleading, it probably doesn't violate any of their rules for turning down revenue.
