I'm not too surprised by the changes in ratings and was glad to see Cruz's big drop, but I was really shocked by the issues ratings. Those to me really indicate some of the Republicans biggest failings.

I completely agree. This is the set of blinders I always says Conservatives wear. That the economy was in 7th place blows my mind. yea, gotta worry about that same sex marriage first

It's the statist side of the party that's helped go Independent first during Reagan's run, then finally to Libertarian. Finally I accepted Mark Twain's definition: (paraphrased) 'If voting really worked, they wouldn't let us do it'

I`m curious about your statement regarding Cruz. What are your issues with him?

Cruz panders and I haven't seen any liberty in his foundation. He just turns me off when I hear his voice and the little smirk on his face.

Strange how folks see the same things differently. I met Cruz before he was elected senator and have had the opportunity to observe him in private and public on several occasions after that, my observations , along with a couple short conversations, lead me to conclusions exactly opposite of yours. Obama was elected partially due to his "looks" and mannerisms, seems that isn`t a good indicator of integrity. Freedom of choice is a great thing. Appreciate the reply.

I agree partly. Education and taxes belong high on the list, but so do the economy and the fight against the climate-change myth. Foreign policy and gun rights deserve middle rankings. Immigration and health care don't even need much discussion, we just need to repeal the messes previous administrations have made of both. And gay rights and abortion are no longer important issues and should be left as they are, forever.

Life would be oh, so much simpler, if we could only boil it down into a graph. The big debate, the biggest audience, so early in the cycle -- once again, the Bard of Avon said it best: "Full of sound and fury, signifying, nothing."

And while this was going on, were the candidates really the top searches or is this just comparing against other candidates?
That is, did the people online really care about this or were most just watching porn?

Pretty cool. A little surprised Jindals numbers dropped off. I thought he did well.

Maybe that's why his numbers dropped off. Who does the numbers? Came in up on top with Carly and then suddenly he was disappeared?

Street Theater. It's all prescripted street theater. They've got a bunch of RINO lapdogs for just in case. If Hillary implodes they can plug in Bush or one of the others and keep on trucking. Same plan no changes.

No mention of Corruption, the most pervasive problem with the greatest bang for the buck for liberty and the economy when addressed and resolved.
Every part of the fedgov is affected (and every issue that the media wants to use to distract us): Justice, Con-gress, White House, EPA, FDA, FBI, CIA, NSA, DHS, BATF, Education, Foreign Policy/Defense, Immigration, Climate, Health Care, Taxes, Property Seizures, Treasury.

From about Rick Perry down to the bottom, they all dropped. I wish Christie and Bush were in that category. I was really surprised with how well Doctor Carson did and the way Carly Fiorina dropped at the end.Marco Rubio also did well and finished in third.

you must have been reading different polls The vast majority I looked at had Fiorino and Jindal on top and the others you mentioned divided by Rinos and possible non-Rinos. But i only looked at 20 or so. The treatment by the media however had the RINOS on top the second tier out of the picture, ignored Jindal, and listed Fiorino as a potential VP followed by that idiotic statement but not Presidential caliber.

      There's a difference?

I was talking about the graph that is linked to the post. I only saw the graph on searches for the names and the ranking by those searches, I did not see any other link to any other graph or anything else.
