Quote of the day:

"A businessman cannot force you to buy his product; if he makes a mistake, he suffers the consequences; if he fails, he takes the loss. A bureaucrat forces you to obey his decisions, whether you agree with him or not ... If he makes a mistake, you suffer the consequences; if he fails, he passes the loss on to you, in the form of heavier taxes." - Ayn Rand

This is Obamacare. You are forced to buy a product, pay a corporation for it, and the government tells you it's a tax.

    The end is near.

A potential customer cannot force you to do business with them either, when you are a businessman in a free economy. Somehow, however, the fascist idea that all business is the domain of the society has bled into the notion that everyone has a right to do business with whoever they want. Were there any prominent Objectivists that weighed in publicly on the wedding cake fiascos?
