Part II


Back across the Atlantic where we endured a civil war a development of the party system and it's change from Democratic Republicans vs. Federalists to Democrats vs. Whigs to Democrats vs. Republicans to Socialist Democrats versus Republicans to Socialist Democrats and socialist Republicans to a Single Party System ...but I'm getting ahead of myself.

In the USA the problem was solved by declaring the center of politics was the center of the left. The left's right wing a home for Republicans, The lefts left wing a home for Democrats futher populated with various other partys each ending with extremists National Socialist Fascist in one direction and International Socialist Fascists in the other. Sometimes described as a circle with Anarchists joining the Nazis with the Communists.

The true center was abandoned by both until it could be safely ignored and the empty right was neatly cut, pasted and papered over in an attempt to disappear the true source of power not only replacing divine right but also providing a home for consent of governed.

Not that neatly. It left a lot of questions summed up as why do they say one thing then do another and why does an airhead left wing liberal lionize a right wing fascist. Plus a few others.

So.. George Carlin and the Smiley Faced left wing fascist comment brought to mind what if the the center is not the center? What if it's only the center of ????? What do these people really stand for? Certainly not power to the people. Benito Mussolini provides the next clue.

The future Italian Dictator and creator of the Fascist Party started out and most socialists did with Karl Marx. That includes though by different routes and with a different purpose Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Don't pout or deny they were very open about it unlike Lyndon Johnson, Carter and eventually - post Reagan, all of them.

I suppose the lovers of the left will cry and scream foul. I don't care.

Here's how I made the whole mess understandable

Definitions all pre PC.

What do Gung Ho (Move forward harmoniously), Thousand Points Of Life, It takes a Village have in common. they are all Socialist sentiments and slogans.

Liberal - Make changes fast by any means available.

Conservative - Make changes slowly follow established procedures.

Fascist - Control by any means necessary (Fascism is a system of control that can be used with any other belief system. Religious, secular, organizations, business and government

Fascist Economics. Socialist Economics with a thin patina of Capitalism and heavily controlled by the government

Marxist Economics -Something that can't be taught but can be preached.

Income Tax - A tax whose main purpose is controlling the people byi controlling their money.

End user Tax - A tax which supports citizen control of government ad they choose when and on what and where to spend .
