Any smackdown to the EPA is a positive note. This ruling says that the EPA may not simply dismiss costs when issuing rules.

This would be obvious for anyone actually running a business, but government bureaucracies don't have to live in the real world.

Hear, hear. K and I heard about this while we were being interviewed. Of course, I doubt the supremes will hold the EPA to a very high standard on the accuracy of their cost analysis.

Granted, but they standard they established was that they had to include a cost analysis on all of their proposed edicts. That right there is a big deal.
