Hypocrisy and Hot Air

A great primer on the invention of air conditioning, as well as a blatant smack-down of the Pope's recent dissertation on global warming.

Maybe someone should give His Holiness a history lesson. Just a few years ago a heat wave in France resulted in the deaths of over 15,000 people because it had the rudeness to occur when everyone was on their Summer vacation, and the hospital air conditioning systems failed.

If I was a Jesuit, I'd be embarrassed by the ignorance of science this Pope is displaying.

The last, not necessarily. I went through 16 years of Catholic school, my undergrad university was Jesuit. There were of course many "civilian" professors, but the two Jesuits I had for two of my economics courses were both avowed Marxists. My guess is those guys would be fully on board the AGW bandwagon. I've considered Francis a Marxist from his very first pronouncements.

For a little history, the Jesuits have always run their communities in a way that they were considered the earliest "socialists".

For conspiracy buffs, I got from Dan Brown but also from Dumas that the Jesuits are underneath it all one of those behind the scenes, secret handshake power groups. In the later, lesser known, books in the "3 Musketeers" series, Aramis has made it almost to the top of the order, and is nominated to be Superior General of the Jesuits...and wouldn't Francis just happen to be the first Jesuit Pope...

Good day, good Catholics everywhere. This is my eminence Cardinal Dino speaking--
Yes, let's pay heed to what one pope called his "papal infallibility" and ban air conditioning world-wide.
That way, the Catholic old shall gag and die at a younger age, go to their glory with less long term old age suffering, no longer be burdened by the Unaffordable Healthcare Act, no longer have to pay their tithes and--
    Oops. Never mind.
This is my eminence Cardinal Dino signing off.

Far too late, It occurred to me via my imagination that I should have written with-a phony Italian accento anna called moy eminence Cardinal Dino-allo.
Think I'll try that should I see an opening to call forth my eminence again.
I had an "evil twin Conrade Citizen' alter-ego here who addressed Gulchers as "comrade citizens, but that was warmly received just for a little while.
When an alter-ego character wears out its welcome, I know its time to shelve it.

A very interesting brief history of air conditioning. The Pope has his stage, and the news will post his epiphanies, but his credibility on any topic is nil.

Unless you're a Catholic or someone trying to ply the Catholic masses. With them, the Pope has a significant amount of pull. Among single people in the world, the Pope is usually ranked in the top five of most influential living figures in politics for that reason. Number one of course is the President of the United States...

I like this Pope, but his advisors helped him to make a mess of this encyclical. I agree we should clean up the planet. But, not in the way he recommends. There is alot more to global climate change. I would rather take a closer at the Butterfly Effect (Chaos Theory) on the weather.

There is a whole lot more to complex phnenomenae than many scientists want to admit. Instead, they rush to an ideological conclusion on the matter rather than patiently compiling enough evidence to make a compelling case. It's a breach of scientific process that they don't seem to care about.

I am not even going to comment on the attack on value creation, we of the same mind here I think. More interesting and disturbing is I just can't believe all the creatures and even Conscious human beings that has fallen for this purposed perversion of what is really going on. It really goes beyond progressive speak; which is always 180° in the opposite direction. Just think of what will happen if the climate gets colder and everyone is prepared for endless days at the beach. Just think of all the plants that would die for lack of carbon. Just think of all the electrical devastation after a carrington like event because of a lack of carbon in our upper atmosphere. This is just common sense if one attempts even the minimum of investigation. Again, if your confused, unaware or even just curious, go to: suspicious0bservers.org

Without air conditioning, you can turn off the lights in Florida, lock the door and throw away the key. Because a person, even the Pope, or a scientist, or a politician of renown makes a statement outside of their chosen field, does that mean we should give it credence? I don't think so. We should question even the person who is the expert in the field, let alone an outsider. Take nothing on faith.

did anybody say the pope was smart? if you ask me the answer is NO. if he were smart he would have taken a different direction in life versus living off of others. i find him as easy to ignore as 0.
